I'm sure Oldboy has been mentioned previously, but if youre reading this, and haven't seen it. Get on it.

Just watched Brother, with Beat Takeshi in. thought it was pretty cack in all honesty. Except for the brutality bits it was bland and poorly acted. 4/10.

They tend to vary between comedies and more serious stuff/dark comedy. Fargo, A Serious Man & No Country For Old Men are good on the serious side and Big Lebowski, Burn After Reading and O Brother Where Art Thou on the comedy side. I've also seem True Grit which was ok but not up to their usual standard I thought. I've heard Barton Fink is very good as well but I haven't seen it.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

Blood Simple is their first and still my favourite. It is a neo noir crime film.

Raising Arizona and Bad Santa is probably the best they have done IMO. They only did rewrites of Bad Santa and helped fund it afaik, but the end product is pretty amazing. Sequel set for next year. Also might want to check out Crimewave...

So many twists and turns in the plot, kept it exciting throughout.

Charlie.
Shite gangsta film starring one half of Bros and telling the story of the Rchardsons in 1960's. Absolute trash, didn't even finish it.

EDIT: Thought this was really good, really funny - Matthew McConaughey smashed it!
