Birmingham-heads, I work near the city centre, people are being sent home, stuff has already kicked off, in Wolves and West Brom too. City Centre is gonna be on lock down from 3:30.

Word is that rioters are gathering in Five Ways, police EVERYWHERE in city centre, road closures, bare muggings, the fort shopping centre is being done over now according to somebody who's wife works there. Might dip from work soon, work in Aston, kicked off there last night. LONG.

she is a knob, should either be liberal and say she'll address policing and community problems and try to talk people down, or be tough and let the police use force with tear gas/water cannons. Just saying 'this is unacceptable' but doing nothing new doesn't achieve much, seems their political stance so far has been 'this is terrible, people shouldn't do it' then go around areas the next day shaking hands.
