Im pretty sure i made the same vow as soon as i heard "the universe was born..." over lean fwddubluke wrote:Made a vow this afternoon to go to every system that ever happens from now![]()

And i might be wrong, but i could have sworn that first mix was the original big bang. Then when it got wheeled he dropped the VIP instead? Like, 90% sure...cos the first thing you knew in the slightest about the epic double drop was "the universe was born", then the bassline came in straight away in time with the drop on lean fwd. Wouldnt have worked with the VIP cos of that first beat lull before the bass comes in. Im convinced! But I guess we need vivek in here

That was the moment it got serious for me!

Re: SYSTEM
I might just be an idiot, but it seems to me like the whole point of system is to stop that happening. First off, its not a dubstep night, its mala and viveks foundation sounds. Shedding the brand of dubstep alone loses half the 'bros' hehe. Then theres no line up! Thinking about it I can really forgive alot of people that may have started turning up to dmzs towards the end, bringing and expecting a vibe that was completely at odds with dmz's. Cos i mean, you could have on the same dmz birthday line up maybe distance, goth trad, chef, hatcha, skream, benga and so many more. And while I owe the best nights of alot of my late teens to them (seriously, nothing but respect to them) they now play a sound that has to a large degree changed, and that in a different venue would quite rightly attract an overhyped crowd of topless bros expecting to see a mosh pit for half the night! (And all power to them!) I can seriously imagine some people may have turned up to dmzs disappointed in the late years and wondered why everyone was being such an eyes down pussy when coki has just dropped a tune that has made said person repeatedly punch themselves in the face.vulvavibration wrote:untill it gets flooded by bros?... then a new thing is needed... lol
So yeah, did that make any sense? I promise it does, I just cant type it...

Re: SYSTEM
We kind of said the same thing this afternoon when talking about it, but were also thinking that cos it's a bit out of the way for most and because of the kind of people who will most likely play there in future you might not get that crowd turning up for a long while yet! Whereas I think nights like DMZ started to get that kind of crowd after a while because they're at an already well known, easier to get to venue and with time, despite the kind of line ups they had there I think the music being played did begin to change and attract a different crowd. I'm not sure why but my gut feeling is that won't happen with systemvulvavibration wrote:untill it gets flooded by bros?... then a new thing is needed... lol
