You'll have to see, I can't explain it in words so well. I try to remove the low end (Bass) on the EQ dial to match with the crossfader shift. Its really apparent when you listen to it that it needs refinement.
except for bad dreams, which is a straight 140. Bad Dreams -> hamas rule by shackleton is one of my favorite blends and requires no tempo change

Just done a new mix, I might upload it, its not perfect i'm not sure yet. Went on an old school tangent at the end too, can only be a good thing though. I'll post it in the mixes section, and link in here instead of clogging this up.

Does a name affect the way you hear the music?

hmm i guess you're right, the music is what's important. But seriously though, more & more people are actually describing it as "dungeon", & every time someone says it I can't help but feel slightly irritated

Like I've said before in this thread. I like calling to Dungeon, not saying I do it often but it's stuck and describes the sound pretty well!

Not really a big deal though is it?

clone is being mixed out right at the start of the vid- pretty sure the track you're after is a new, untitled Icicle bit. Sounds big :D

I agree that Dungeon is a shit name but what can you do? Genre names have never been able to stand up to the music within them throughout music history.

Look at Rock 'N Roll, what the fuck does that even mean?? Reeks of the 50s/60s to me. Regardless it's one of the all-time biggest types of music.

I guess what I'm trying to say is you can't describe music with words and that's shit
