How does tonight prove either way? It was a definite red card, it was possibly a dive for the pen, but Drogba lunged at him, didn't get the ball and it wouldn't be the first time a player has gone down easily in the box, at home, and won a penalty.jazzamataz wrote:Who was telling me there was no UEFAlona conspiracy?!

What's that Barcelona? You're not winning the domestic or Chamions league this season? HA!
Re: The SNH Football thread
I can see exactly whats going to happen. Arsenal will finish 4th and Chelsea will go and win the final stealing their champs league place next season

I hate Chelsea but I'm even more bored of Barcelona's dominance. I'll take this, and hope Bayern get through and dick them in the final.Pedro Sánchez wrote:Fucking Chelsea, At least Terry misses the next.

Didn't we get 5 teams in the year Liverpool won and Everton finished 4th?southstar wrote:I can see exactly whats going to happen. Arsenal will finish 4th and Chelsea will go and win the final stealing their champs league place next season

Re: The SNH Football thread
UEFALona's conspiracy didn't go so well tonight.
My tip is Bayern to lose but go through on away goals, will win the final with home advantage. Also, big up Bolton!

Did Geoff Shreeves just absolutely dick Ivanovic in the post-match interview there?

Villa are plain awful, i expect Mcleish to be sacked straight after the last gamegarethom wrote:UEFALona's conspiracy didn't go so well tonight.

Yep, I just want the bastids to get relegated once, and to know my pain.southstar wrote:Villa are plain awful, i expect Mcleish to be sacked straight after the last gamegarethom wrote:UEFALona's conspiracy didn't go so well tonight.

I honestly can't see them sacking Mcleish. Have already spent a tonne changing managers over the last 2 seasons, Mcleish cost them about £2/3m from us, and the owner is already looking to "trim the wage bill". I can't see them having much of a choice.
They seem to mirror what happened with Blues last year. Good few points clear with not long to go, seem safe, then have the worst run of the season coinciding with teams below them picking up points. I can see them staying up though.
Re: The SNH Football thread
Outstanding game. Well done Chelsea. It's so much easier to get behind them when John Terry's off the field.

Hope Bayern gets it though.

Well fuck me. I did not expect this. They frustrated Barca, and even though they were on the back foot for pretty much most of the game, the done well, and with 10 men.
I'll rarely say this, but well played you slags. Just hoping you're going to get done over in the final now.
