Try to drop some feedback on at least three tunes, otherwise this won't work properly

If every person drops 3 bits of feedback with their submission then everyone would be happy. Don't get why some people are not only too lazy to post comments but too lazy to read the first post of the thread as well!!

Apathesis was pretty dope, a bit long yeah...the drumz could get edited a bit more for my liking... :D Overall I thought the vibe was very good. A little post op and you should have a very nice tune.....ez

Copius,

I would say that this in general is a great start for where you are at in production! I think you should progress nicely, you have a lot of good ideas with your tracks and I feel that if you now spend a bit more time on the actual sound quality of your mixdowns, you may begin to progress your overall sound and shape it into something that is more on the level that you may want to achieve at some point. Dive more into sound quality, that's my advice....Great vibes, I'll be lookin' out for you and I bet that you will progress quite a bit.....ez man.

very nice mate - fair play.... very deep sub (my crappy speakers here only really touch the higher notes lol).... very blissed atmosphere... pretty minimal but holds the interest which for my ears is a hard balance to hit.

is that a tribe of frog pic on your page too? sure I recognise those butterflies!

can definitely hear the hip-hop breathing through this one dude. what's there is nice.... can't help feeling it could do with something leading the thing a little though.... maybe even keeping with the hip-hoppy character a bit of mc or vocal (not a whole line) just fragments chopped and cut-up into the mix just to help hold the interest?

anyhow - if anyone could give me some feedback on this would be much appreciated - it's a remix I did around some vocal from a friend's band - first thing I've finished to a point of (near) satisfaction

myspace didn't seem to like me uploading at a decent bit rate so the sound is a little ropey off the website.... don't know if I did something wrong with the murdochian site or if it's always like that.

big ups

Yo, you previously bigged up one of my tunes .. so only right I return the love

The bass riff is really good, I liked the reversed FX at the end of each bar and when that sample comes in. Maybe add more variation in the percussion, and maybe have a break down in the middle before it drops in the main riff again. I'm listening to this on my headphones so I can't judge the bass depth, but sounds good from here. Gd overall job!

Hey all,

Ive been making a few tunes lately, and decided to pay more attention to the production value instead of just tune structure and content. Ive been messing with this one for a few days, and wondered if anyone had any feedback on what could be done to round it off better. I think I have come to the extent of my production skills with it, so can anyone think of any ways I could enhance it?

@Deepend, I love the minimal feel of rainbow dub, kick could do with some eqing to make it more thumpy (imho) but I love the way the detuned stabs at the beginning keep you guessing :)

Thanks guys,
JJ
