Fifa president Sepp Blatter claims allegations surrounding the Qatar 2022 World Cup bid are motivated by racism.
lol, this from the guy who said players who suffer racism should just shake hands and get on with it

The whole 2002 WC was a joke. The match between Brazil and Turkey was a shame as well.

We'll also see how it goes down this year. Id' be very surprised if Brazil don't win the Cup. It'd be the perfect opportunity for the government to appease a bit the social tensions. Plus the next presidential election is in October this year.

I still hope we'll see quality matches!

With all this world cup madness going on, it was probably easy to miss the fact that Bradford have made a nice signing in this chappy, I know its the transfer SNH was dying to see

I honestly think someone would have died if they'd tried playing it in the summer like the original plans

100/1 outside bet on Wilfred Bony getting Golden Boot. They've got Japan, Greece and Colombia in their group so potentially could beat them all, its a pretty even group. Hes been on form recently so hopefully bang in a couple.

I'm in a state of argument with my wallchart... it's got Group B down as the group of death when Group G is clearly the killer.

Rooting for England and USA with a little flutter on Germany to win.
