To Haack and all contestants and voters!

Sorrry to Haaack I only logged on today so only just read my inbox.

To everyone else i made the CONTAMINATED track

'Due to request, the track "CONTAMINATED" will be removed due to spam voting on the first day, voting will be reset shortly.
Sorry for the inconvenience for everyone that has entered.'

Im really sorry your votes got reset guys/girls. I did not no it would be that bad. I put a message on my facebook about the comp and I guess I got more support than I thought I would.

Was expecting 1 or 2 of my close freinds to give me a vote to help me out early on so people would listen to my track more as was 2nd to last on the playlist and noticed in previous comps track one would get double the plays to the bottom track.

Stupid I no, should have just left it to real listeners so I got a proper vote or 2  I just put my heart and soul into this comp as it was my first full track and I wanted to do well. But I went the wrong way about it. :(

Sorry once again looking forward to the next comp so I can get real feedback on what people think.

You may hate me for asking but was wandering if anyone could listen to my track again and help me out on whats good and whats bad. Maybe what I should add or do different. Seen some real good reviews of the other tracks :D I even made a wobble out of the subbass sample which I as a n00b was rather proud of 8) (did ask 2 contestants the night before to make sure this was aloud)

Thanks

Way to go alphacat....awesome review (I did mine at work while doing other stuff so it looks like mine was written by a brain dead retard :P )

To stex13...As I said in my review it was a good tune and entry...which is why i couldn't figure out the spam voting...I guess it is understandable what happened...my first contest i had the urge to get 20 friends to come vote for me but looking at the previous comps I could tell that would not be in the spirit of the comp.

I dunno...for me all is forgiven...sucks about the restart of the vote...but you can tell you did put effort into the tune and stuck to the rules samplewise..so I say no hard feelings and hope to see you in the next one :D

Thanks dblth1nk and Haack!

SteX13: Live and learn, eh? At least you're enthusiastic - and your apology comes off sincere enough for me, anyway. Can't speak for these other thugz tho.

Yeah a mistake's a mistake, no hard feelings as far as I'm concerned towards SteX13, and I'm pretty sure everyone feels the same way. It was a nice track too, I'll look forward to hearing future entries from him.

Another thing, I'd think it would be a good idea to give the competitions a bit more exposure elsewhere on the site, this vote isn't exactly conclusive on the best track right now!

a little ironic that he named the track contaminated eh? haha, i dont really care about the voting period to be honest, i just like making the song and having a time limit. Id rather see how many people genuinely thought my track was the best rather than have buddies click a track number. last comp was really flattering, this one not so much, im surprised at how many people submitted shit they must of liked our pack eh?

Congratulations to Stappard for winning this months competition, definitely got my vote on this one, great production and structure I literally couldn't stop listening to it.

Everyone look forward for the next competition later this week.

As always great job on all fronts, keep up the great work, and thank you to all who participated.

Cheers.

Good job Stappard! :W:

So now Stappard will make the next sample pack?

And "Drowning In Data" was my track. Literally did it within the last 3 hours of the deadline. Can't wait for the next session!
