Just to clarify.. the one that's leaked onto the net is actually a rip, and not a 'proper' 320.
The real one is floating around, though.. and yes courtesy of the Rusko CD napper.

There's all this 'dub trading' going on these days.. it's like a new craze in the dubstep piracy world.
Shit loads of stuff has leaked recently.
Forthcoming Hench dubs are doing the rounds atm. prior to that it was the Rottun dubs, Prime audio dubs, Circus dubs.

Thankfully they're not widely avaliable yet.

Always going to happen as a genre gets bigger. Its been going on years in dnb and it can be anyone dishing them out from producers friends to people at cutting houses. It just happens, if a producer wants to keep a tune on lock down then I would be extreamly carefull as to who you give dubs to.

No I just checked the spectrals.. and it's deffo not the one I have.. and the one I have didn't come from the Rusko leak.

Rihanna killed it for me personally, but I agree - playing dubs that you haven't got permission to play in a set or anything is wrong. If you get permission from the producers, then it's ok. Downloading this with the intention of using it in a djing situation is wrong...However, with the original never going to see the light of day, getting a copy for personal use only isn't as bad...

Ever noticed that its mostly the more aggy / 'jump up' side of things that suffers from this? Why is this? Im guessing more CD's and CDJ users.

Spoke to Hatcha at Sin City and asked if he was playing 'Tree Trunk' and he said he had lots his new Coki CD so i am guessing people just misplace there CD's and someone else picks it up.

Or.. dj's/producers get the goods sent.. they then pass it on to a friend, who passes it on to another friend.. etc etc. It's only a matter of time before it gets into careless hands.
Thankfully though.. they never 'fully' leak until after release. (well, a majority of them)

Would people in the club call up the police to say you were playing an illegal track?? i don't think so. If you've been lucky enough to ''acquire'' an unreleased tune then your going to play it out! Everyone wants to be playing tracks other people dont have........its just the way it is!

I think if you aquire a unreleased dub that is more than likely never going to see the light of day just contact the producer see if he minds you playing them out. I got hold of a few pendulum dubs that were never going to be released and some brooks brothers an subs focus ones. After speakin with the artists I explained I had got hold of them and asked if they minded if I played them out and they were all fine with it because they weren't coming out anyway.

It's easy to tell who's got it illegally coz why would some no name dj have a tune like that on dubplate? It's an attitude like this that will get you "blacklisted" in the future by producers. If they know you are one of these idiots who plays out illegal dubs that you haven't been given permission to play then they're not gonna give you their tunes. Do you know anything about dubplate culture at all?

By illegal I don't mean coz you're breaking the law I mean you're pissing off the producer by playing his/her music when they haven't granted you permission to do so. Do you lot even know how this works?
