Man, hardcore dancing used to be so much fun... been a couple of years since i've been to a good show though

also, the point is NOT to try and hurt everyone around you, i've found the more crazy you go the more people stay away from you and the less likely everyone is to get hurt. Whenever i used to mosh i was always really conscious of where people where in relation to me so that i didnt hurt anyone (or get hurt myself), just create your own space and go mental in it, it would be a shit night if all i was trying to do was injure as many people as possible and get myself a black eye. also, i fully acknowledge that hardcore dancing looks ridiculous but it is realy really fun

still though... moshing to dubstep is fucking retarded

no the point of hardcore dancing is to be the most ninja and get respect for your dont-give-a-shit attitude and to be the center of attention.

if you knew me and what im like then you would see how this is about as far from my character as you could get, i hate being the centre of attention, im a very socially awkward person and so the idea of everyones attention being on me is actually quite terrifying. Just making conversation with someone is challenge enough, why would i do things purposefully to gain more attention?

rhythm makes me move, the more aggresive the rhythm the more aggresive the movement... quite a simple equation really

SOIA are definitely NYHC.

If we're even arguing that, it's proof that a number of people in here have no idea what they're talking about.
