the track with the most votes, Bronze eagle fist, has those votes because Stone palms wasn't put in for like an hour, after the initial rush, so no, we don't know what the most popular track is. Still a point in keeping up IMHO

All it means is that the weaker tracks go out every round until there's only one left. How is that dumb? It's like, the basis for pretty much every major tournament in the world
I do agree though that if no one votes for every battle then the point is moot

True, but let's face it, there's a clear lead in that case and I think it's fair to say there will be some weaker tracks up against some more accomplished ones so ultimately it's gonna take a few rounds to get into it when the weaker one's go out.

Its all good! I'm well chuffed with the amount of votes I've got so far, considering I mainly make house and techno.

I thought most of them sounded more like Techno with a sine wave tbh

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Don't know if its suggested yet, but maybe a pool system for the first round would work nicely next time. Like first 2 (or 3) of each pool go on to next round.
Only skipped through a few yet, but nice tracks so far. Good work guys

It is stupid for people to not vote in every fight and there are definitely some shenanigans going on with bronze eagle fist considering it has approximately more votes than people who have voted...but we definitely don't know which the most popular tune is. It's a decent tune sure but there were several others in the comp as a whole that I thought were better. No offence to whoever made bronze eagle fist, it's good, just not the best in my opinion.

Votes so far for each group:
f1: 38
f2: 37
f3: 36
f4: 35
f5: 33
f6: 34
f7: 35
f8: 35
f9: 35
f10: 36
f11: 34
f12: 36
For the Stone Palms thing, they could be carried over to the last round of 3 people. That would split it in to 2 groups and also provide a last round of 2, head to head for first place. Any other ideas?

I have no idea what you mean...that makes no sense XD
Also for what it's worth I thought stone palms was actually one of the better songs in this comp. Wish I'd voted for it now to give some support. Just thought that bronze eaglefist had more variation in it and felt like more of a complete song...but stone palms was nicer to listen to.

lesson learned. to write a song people enjoy write ONE part, and loop it for 3 1/2 drawn out minutes.
