1. Hate is a strong word.

2. I quite like some Skrillex tunes but yes they do get a bit samey, I would never play two in a row, and there's better stuff out there if you like your tunes well produced and extremely gnarly.

3. I'm thinking Skism, Chasing Shadows, Reso etc etc.

lol if it was that simple don't u think every tone deaf wannabe popstar kid would be doing it? Its obvious to look at him why the guy is hated same as any goth (why would anyone dress that way if they didn't want to be hated?) but fairplay to Skrillex is not nearly as easy to get known as all the unknown producer/djs on here would have u believe but he done a good job of using hate to his advantage + anyone taught by Noisia is worth keeping an eye on

Off topic but when I think of honest, true original music filth is obviously off the menu but its not future garage or IDM/techno cack that springs to mind either, I'm thinking a modern take on Motown/Northern Soul etc ie real music written by real musicians/stuff with soul + melody and skillfull production. To do that music convincingly requires some serious wedge - Rhodes, synths, better instruments, mics + preamp, bigger studio, analogue desk + kit, better soundcard etc getting hate for writing some "cheap" music so u can get to that point quicker is fairplay imo

But to be brief, here are the reasons you are going to get.

1) He's riding the brostep bandwagon.
2) He's on the Mau5trap label
3) He can't mix to save his life
4) He was in that terrible emo band
5) Nowadays, when people think of dubstep, they think of Skrillex and the tons of other trash brostep producers, which is a terrible misrepresentation of the genre.
6) He sucks.

Deffo + proof that filth doesn't have to sound stupid/cheesy but I think Skrillex is capable of doing good filth as well if he would lay off the cheese
