I do hate the fact that quite often now when you try to talk to someone about dubstep who isnt into the scene, they mostly (for good or bad) think of Hype/Rave dubstep straight away :(
Im not into stuff like borgore and skrillex but y'know, each to their own I guess. I just cant see the dub in it.

There is only one thing more annoying than the so called brosteppers taking off their shirts and moshing away, and that is the 'heads' standing in the corner, shaking their head and refusing to have a good time.

Have a drink, have a dance.. Enjoy it! Because this is all part of a club music genre that everyone feels the need to overly categorise. If you don't like the music some of these guys produce then simply don't comment on it. The only reason they call themselves any sort of genre is because stuck up music snobs - that normally do not actually have any idea. - has created them. This forum itself being a sucker for it.

I don't like certain sounds, so I don't listen to them, simple. YOU ARE NO BETTER. Them and their fan base could not care less about your stuck up and ridiculous comments.

ok, i just thought i had to post and tell you that you are wrong and your logic is flawed because dubstep is dubstep, enough said on the matter.

haynesr07 has spoken. DUBSTEP IS DUBSTEP, ENOUGH FUCKING SAID. What's your argument? Sound is sound? Anything is dubstep? Boom tiss wobwobwob does not constitute dubstep. Some music fits within the creative framework of dubstep (in my opinion: space, depth, sub weight, shuffled smart percussion, and minimal effects), while some music does not. M8, you're on about these people's logic when what you're saying is a fallacy...

Glitch Mob makes dope music, hip-hop crunk stuff mostly they don't even produce at 140 bpm or call themselves "dubstep" so i don't see why your lumping in with those 2 bandwagon brosteppers

thats the whole point. kids hear a dubstep tune in a set or just something with a screechy wobbly synth and think the whole set represents dubstep. if you ask a random kid in america who makes dubstep those are the names theyre gonna come up with.

but fuck it, apparently its just whatever kids think it is. or whatever makes the word most popular. my mistake.

oh and sorry for ever implying that these names don't make good music. obviously if its not dubstep it can't be good.
