Don't call it 'silkies' or anything, but I do 'caress' the edges of creases or folds made in certain fabrics. ( < me reading what I'm typing)

The cuffs on a coat I had when I was younger were the best for it. Used to almost constantly fold them when I was wearing it.
I don't really do it a lot, or collect things that do it well, but I find that certain thicknesses of pillowcase are particularly good for it! The loose part of the open end is the best. Running your fingers around the edge is good, but around my mouth is fucking great!

Thought my sister was the only one! when she was little she would even go up to strangers and rub their clothes on the space under her nose.. cant say it put her in a good position.

Yeah, maybe not the best thing to do socially.
