I refuse to divulge my age as it will inevitably reduce the remaining amount of respect people have for me on here.

Well, I doubt the "#1 Skrillex fan" would be any older than 15, sooooooooooo...

mojomusic wrote:i'm sure there was a thread on DSF a year or two ago that was about this 5 year old kid who snuck into his dad's studio all the time to learn how to produce - made dubstep too. can't find the thread or any other evidence of him ever existing though :(

can anyone back me up on this? or am i talking balls?
there was some kid whose mom and dad produced dnb and dubstep and like made tracks, i stumbled upon his myspace a bit of time ago and like he had his track played on mary anne hobbs show too!

i dont think age really matter though, i mean it would be cool to have like 'oh he produces such good music for his young age' or whatever, but im sure most of my favourite producers are older than me, like yeah there are young producers out there, but im not much of a fan of their stuff, most of it is shit!

not bashing young producers though, im sure some can produce some sick shit!

Something the older peeps may be forgetting is how limiting the price of studio gear was before PC's where common place when we were younger... :(

Today kids have an iphone with synth apps... :o

The real question is can you even remember life before mobile phones?

That's exactly what I thought when I was 24! :6:

I'm 27 now and haven't made anything of my life yet hehe. :D

Being young has its limitations, and being old is more about forgetting ones youthfulness than physical age.

Hardly a life achievement lol.

I compare myself to the big figures in history... If I'm not in the history books in 300 years time, I reckon my life will have been a mere speck on the back of the mite on the back of the fly on a fat turd of shit on the pavement...! :P

Also on a similar note, I'm beavering away at my plugins business slowly but surely.... Watch this space! :e:

15 year old reporting in! Started last year, would probably have started earlier if I lived somewhere where dubstep is bigger :)
