This is because "he wants to legalize drugs".
wow how extremely pessimistic... i find that this forum tends to pick apart a topic and immediatley attempts to label it as a cliche.
How was what I said pessimistic? Or were you referring to deadly habit?
either way we're on point with the general college age/hs senior vote
the average 18-to say early 20s generally pay no mind to political issues unless something like that comes up (that and the "indie" factor)
Much like the middle aged people who solely vote on who's most likely to bomb the shit out of the Middle East to keep the USA safe? There are single-issue voters in every demographic.

lol that is how the credit crunch started.. ' yeah yeah just give me a couple more mill, this venture will take off im sure of it...'
Not really what I was talking about, but yeah capitalism thrives off of bubbles.
Not really. Bubbles like that wouldn't be able to exist in a free market capitalist system.

I'm fine with someone being anti-capitalism, but using anything the current system as an example why 'free markets don't work' is like using the Soviet Union as an example why communism doesn't work. Free markets have never existed.
Free markets don't exist, and can't exist. I didn't really need to point that out. But our capitalist society as it is today thrives off the idea of the ones in the know cashing in on the flames during the bears and adding more timber during the bulls. Someone always has to get shafted. But again that has little to do with my original point, that the government needs to invest more in Roosevelt fashion. Even with an investment as superficial and half-assed as the stimulus bill, we've come up with decent results.

But of course that goes against every principle ron paul believes in.

exactly, but we also live in a generation that a good share don't actually go out and vote, and if they do it's just in presidential elections and nothing else, which is half the reason state politics can be extremely fucked up

That, and A LOT of people just click and vote REPUBLICAN or DEMOCRAT across the board, and not even look into actual specifics and positions. There's so much grey area. It kind of angers me there is even an option to do that.

Is that Billy Bob Neck's brother???
So "supporting your country/constitution " to him means joining the military?

This guy seems obsessed with violence to resolve conflict, and that's just from the parts of the video I could actually decipher.

From lurking in all the United States discussions in this forum, I can safely say I think your country is fucked at the moment.

Basically: Guy in cowboy costume pretending it's the wild west, threatening to beat up kids who disagree with his political views, also kept threatening to "give them an ass wiping" not *whipping*, he specifically said WIPING a couple of times. Yada yada yada, "I'll beat you up if you are different than me, and the only way you're a true American is if you join the military" etc.
