I knew emo and screamo were influenced by the hardcore scene, but I wouldn't have thought that they were actually hardcore, just that they share very similar characteristics.
But I get why my first statement would seem silly

@Fuzion: Cheers man! Glad you see some value in my stuff. I doubt I woulda got there without DSF though. Whilst they can be brutal and downheartening, their advice and wisdom is great. They challenge me and push me.
And for that I love them.
@Pedro Sanchez & anyone intrested in post-hardcore: Yeah 'hardcore' is essentially punk. 'post-hardcore' is a little different, and yeah, probably more mainstream. It sounds a lot different.

dude dsf is the shit. i learned about 80% of what I know now from this site. the other 20% just through reading up on synthesis, some tuts on youtube, and experimenting.
