It sounds to me like emo/screamo mixed with hardcore.
Considering Emo/Screamo is hardcore then thats a fairly bad assumptions.

Post-hardcore is just a more accessible version of hardcore. More commercialised as you will.

Some Post-hardcore is good though!

Surely hardcore is just simply hardcore punk?

I knew emo and screamo were influenced by the hardcore scene, but I wouldn't have thought that they were actually hardcore, just that they share very similar characteristics.

But I get why my first statement would seem silly :6:

@Fuzion: Cheers man! Glad you see some value in my stuff. :) I doubt I woulda got there without DSF though. Whilst they can be brutal and downheartening, their advice and wisdom is great. They challenge me and push me.

And for that I love them. :w:

@Pedro Sanchez & anyone intrested in post-hardcore: Yeah 'hardcore' is essentially punk. 'post-hardcore' is a little different, and yeah, probably more mainstream. It sounds a lot different.

This might shead some light, but it's more metalcore really... I named the thread badly. :L http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=197428
