WTF. Hazard is one of THE best technical producers in the scene, and is constantly changing his sound! Listen to "Play The Game" as Vague, then listen to Proteus, Food Fight- which Rockwell has been rinsing, Busta Move, and Death March- completely different! Plus "Wicked So" basically started this whole "drumstep" thing which, whether you like it or not, is pretty influential.nikki wrote:yeh, they call it 'Wobble'
look up 'Hazard' and 'Taxman' plenty of others too...
was kinda the end to DnB as we knew it...
...seriously? The Nine, Four Days, The Pulse, the entire Book of the Bad series?fractal wrote:@pkay- I hear you, and agree. But I just grew so tired of that beat so quickly... When groups like pendulum and bad company started to get big, I knew that my love affair with dnb was over...

So many people chatting shit in this thread!
As for Total Science - yes, just released a new EP with SPY and every tune is incredible. So much good D&B out at the moment, I really need to do a new mix.

agree with you there, hazard comes with some bangers so does taxman, i'd say people like sly & sensai are more like the 'brostep'The Tornado wrote:WTF. As for Taxman, he makes a lot of jump-up tunes that have integrity. Evasion Remix, Seen/97 Style with Original Sin, Dreamland/Acid...
Two of the best producers in the scene. If you want real brostep in D&B it's people like DJ Sly. That shit is straight up terrible. The only tune I have ever played of his is "Heavy and Dark" which is cheesy but fuck it, I like it.
