That is not how they usually behave actually. They usually do spread out into clouds or they are pushed on the air currents. Anyways, I already said I don't what the fuck they are, just that I have been observing them just like many other people. I will do more research with some of the links that Knell posted when I have some time. I am just as skeptical about these things as are many people, but have been noticing them more and more for the last while.borrowed wrote:Fuck you people are stupid. Re: Silently Sprayed
Keep in mind, it's important to discuss conspiracies like this in the open, where everyone can read evidence from both sides, and make up their mind for themselves. Insults only get people worked up.
I've had my say, and the opposition have had theirs. Hopefully that's enough information for anyone to decide one way or the other. (Although I have literally hundreds of links to research articles that shed light on this, i just posted the best ones, if anyone's interested just send me a PM)
Also, it's important to look into any and all conspiracies, as they can often turn out to be true. (Although they usually are feasible political theories and not quite as farfetched as the popular ones, stuff like Iran-Contra)
Anyway, it's been fun.

The fact that you think there's even the slightest chance some evil overlords are killing us by sprinkling aluminum dust into the air and that you (a teenager with no knowledge of air currents or aviation) can uncover this by watching how "contrails" behave in your back yard pretty much badges you as an idiot.mks wrote:That is not how they usually behave actually. And you think being polite to these witch hunters is the proper course of action? These people should be ridiculed and laughed at from all angles.knell wrote:Keep in mind, it's important to discuss conspiracies like this in the open, where everyone can read evidence from both sides, and make up their mind for themselves. Edit: fucks sake because of these nutters we have a tea party and a candidate for presidency that believes in chemtrails and other wacky bullshit.

Re: Silently Sprayed
yes i do, i think being polite and fair to everyone is the proper course of action. that's just my style these days. i've tried yelling, i've tried insults. the thing is, that usually gets them more riled up and they shut off to what you say. it also makes you look like kind of a jerk if you dont contribute any evidence, but just hurl insults.borrowed wrote: And you think being polite to these witch hunters is the proper course of action? i'm not saying i dont laugh at my screen from time to time, but really, all i can do is put the information I know out there, and hope that the passive readers will understand what i'm trying to say. there's usually no convincing a theorist, so ridicule isn't usually effective, in my experience. ill leave that to others, i'll stick to just evidence.
and which tea party candidate believes in chemtrails? i havent heard that before, you've got me worried
Re: Silently Sprayed
If you look back on what I said, I never said anything about aluminum or what their composition is. Never said anything about evil overlords. I merely said that I have observed these contrails and sometimes there are a lot of them. Perhaps the atmospheric conditions are conducive for them on those particular days.borrowed wrote:The fact that you think there's even the slightest chance some evil overlords are killing us by sprinkling aluminum dust into the air and that you (a teenager with no knowledge of air currents or aviation) can uncover this by watching how "contrails" behave in your back yard pretty much badges you as an idiot.mks wrote:That is not how they usually behave actually. I do know that you are an asshole and can fuck right off. I'm not a teenager by the way.
Re: Silently Sprayed
My point in calling you a teenager was to say that you're not exactly a trained scientist when it comes to observing clouds. I could have used the word uneducated, but that would have been misconstrued even more.
Re: Silently Sprayed
Well, I was quite on the fence about all of this and rather than add anything useful to the conversation, you proceeded to attribute things that I did not say to me and then called me an idiot twice, and there was no misconstruing that. First time I let it slide.borrowed wrote:My point in calling you a teenager was to say that you're not exactly a trained scientist when it comes to observing clouds. Re: Silently Sprayed
Guys you caught me. I mostly spray above Canada, simply because the gravity will pull the aluminum south. What's the benefit you have asked? Well you may have noticed the influx of beached whales, they stretch transluscent skin over themselves and sit and watch the telly all day without providing anything back to society. They are the illegal immigrants of our time, but they aren't human!
They steal our TV signals and steal our pension plans and collect EI, so I divised a plan to spread aluminum which deposits in fat, like whale blubber. That way we can slowly remove these illegal whales from our great nations, in order to reclaim fast Internet connections and paid television!

Ever hear of something called a cloud?ogunslinger wrote:It still doesn't explain why this contrail just sits and expands throughout the sky all day.
They are both water vapor and small ice crystals, if the conditions are right theres nothing stopping them 'sitting in the sky all day'

Seriously though, I'm not pointing to the sky and saying poison. My beliefs on the matter are based on the testing that has been completed, (soil etc.) Obviously there is enough evidence on both sides of the matter, you just need to go with what you feel is right. Also take note it is not unheard of to spray substances from aircrafts for weather modification.
lightwatcher.comIn Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: Mitigation, Adaptation, and the Science Bases conclusion, the N.A.S. found that the most effective global warming mitigation turned out to be the spraying of reflective aerosol compounds into the atmosphere utilizing commercial, military and private aircraft. This preferred mitigation method is designed to create a global atmospheric shield which would increase the planet's albedo (reflectivity) using aerosol compounds of aluminum and barium oxides, and to introduce ozone generating chemicals into the atmosphere.

Considering you think high quantities of aluminum cause Alzheimer's, I'd love to see your elaborate testing on "soil, etc".ogunslinger wrote:Really? Re: Silently Sprayed
If you look here, you can see that aerosol mitigation has been determined to be unproven, and is typically added as an addendum to the NAS study (this was in 2007, the NAS study was in '92. Notice how it's worded, it's still speculation on what would happen if a large-scale project went underway). There have been no large-scale geoengineering projects performed because the risks/benefits are still being weighed. Under your logic you're assuming some part of the government gave the green light to do something drastic, keep it under wraps, and hope for the best, with the "public's best interest" at heart. None of that makes any sense (to me), but hey, there are some pretty stupid high-ranking politicians of past and present, so i can't say there's no way you're correct
.
Plus, using aluminum/barium oxides as a method isn't even considered in the geoengineering community. I asked. Most advocates swear by using sulfur aerosols. Which, seems to me at least, following your logic of it seeping down into the ground, would be a few orders of magnitude worse than Al/Ba.

That was a clarification, not an apology.Don't need an apology from you. You're still a twat either way. Let me clarify this: Learn how to differentiate other people's comments from my own because that really makes you look like an idiot.

Re: Silently Sprayed
Anyways, thank you Knell for providing some links.
As I said before, I have heard stories from both sides of the argument for a few years now, the whole chemtrails vs contrails thing. Never really had a conclusive opinion on them one way or other, other than the fact that I see them all of the time in various climate conditions. It's seems both sides are pretty adamant about their viewpoint and I cannot discount scientific studies on the matter.
Here are a couple of pretty pictures taken from my apartment a few months ago:
