When you include the rest of the paragraph you'll notice that I'm talking about the notion that you don't need an education to know that poison is bad for you. You know, the rat poison.

And even if you haven't tried it, word will spread within urban communities what is in there after it's been around for a little while.

And fine, I'm not too arrogant to admit that. But, my point was rather clear. And regardless of whether or not rat poison is in there, you don't need an education to know it's bad for you. So the point itself stands. Whether it has any merit in the real world now, though, that's a different story.

Now what you likely won't admit is that you responded to a teensy out-of-context sentence without reading all of my posts in this thread and thus completely misinterpreting what I said due to a lack of information. you're right. I stopped reading your post when I realized you hadn't done even a basic level of research on the subject. The first half of your post was completely wrong an uninformed so I didn't read the second half as regardless what your point is, it is founded on misinformation.

If I start off a conversation talking about how 2 + 2 is 10 it doesn't matter what I say after as the way I came to that conclusion is not founded in anything factual and is based on assumption and/or misinformation.

You could have easily made your point without spreading misinformation by simply stating "people know drugs are bad for you".

BTW: Most drugs have poisons in them. Cocaine has ether in it, most of what people call acid these days has rat poison it, X had binders often times made from cleaning chemicals, meth has god knows what in it, heroin in the purist form readily available on this planet (tar) is bound with multiple acids, list goes on and on and on. None of that stops middle class or upper class folks from doing them. People often times don't know what is in the drugs they do therefor it is not going to prevent them from doing it. They don't have DARE classes in the slums
