ahh some of you being a bit too picky about the camping. the worst bit was the heat by far. yes it got messy but if you've been to Leeds festival its nothing in comparison. That place gets unbearable by the sunday to be honest. It gets to a point where people feel they need to blow shit up and start fires.

Id recommend bring shoes for the sea to anyone going. I didnt and was very weary about going in the sea after seeing a fair few heads hobbling about after standing on sea urchins and glass.

id say there will be more people next year but im also sure Outlook themselves said they will make the availability of facilities a big priority in regards to 2012

well tickets dont go on sale til 4... maybe they were anticipating the hangovers!

gonna probably buy mine on sunday, got a feeling this year is gonna sell really fast, and if they're not increasing the capacity then there's gonna be a lot of disappointed people. im not taking that risk!

Some of the stories on here are really getting me thinking about going, others just make me think.. i fucking hate some parts of festivals like the amount of utter wankers it attracts and shit security. But i'm really considering going now.

I'm gunna probably take a trip somewhere else on the way there/back as travelling straight there for the festival then straight home after just seems like a complete rush and a ballache.. anyway i've seen a few people mentioning berlin/amsterdam.. also venice on the way back. Any suggestions and reasons for those suggestions? I mainly want to get there with as little bother and waiting around as possible, hence why i want to stay for a few days in different countries instead of fucking around waiting for flights and travel.

Heard about it last year but rinsed all my money. This year theres no Glastonbury so im pretty tempted, problem is whether I can convince a few others to come aswell. Hows sleeping there work? I noticed at Global that alot of Dance festival goers are almost afraid of camping with all the VIP campsite malarkey so its not like im adverse to it especially if its cheaper by a fair bit

did camping last year and it was fucking grim, avoid unless you can take lots of decent camping gear/camper van.
shower and toilet blocks were absolutely fucking horrible the whole time - not enough toilets for all the campers at all. i have a pretty low tolerance to bad smells and chucked up whilst i was taking a shit coz it smelt so bad - doesn't help that some of you bunch are rank and somehow manage to smear your own shit on the walls.

plan on doing dimensions this year too so might camp for the first few days if they've made improvements to the site then move to a hostel after for some home comforts.

i love camping, being dirty and rolling about in shit so im not really fussed. just washed under the tap most days. only thing that i didn't like about it was not really being able to get out of the sun which would make me consider an apartment but paying for flights is gonna be the priority before any other luxuries. fuck the sunshine bus again...

Camping was totally fine for me last year, no one shat outside my tent. Although, queue for showers were ridiculous and I slept on a rock. I definitely be camping again this year, fuck the long trek to the apartments.

I know someone has already asked this but didn't get much of an answer.
Can anyone that went last year give me the lowdown on the weed situation?
Is it easy to get? Did many people get caught last year?
How did people go about getting it? Did anyone take their own on the sunshine bus? etc.
