Go spurs. Really like that they won instead of the heat.

It's just to put pressure on Wade and Bosh and give more space to Pat riley to get more players (replace Chalmers and get a good center and eventually a bench). But if Wade and Bosh decide to take the money (which is unlikely), Lebron will be out of Miami for sure...

I think basketball would be way cooler if they used 2 balls the whole time.
same for "football"

2 pucks for hockey would be good too... more fighting.

that's street style,
2 balls and one sneaker
everyone get's 1 free foul per game
no sports drinks, just liquor

Not sure I understood your point about the bird years... Is it the bird exception that allows the team to resign a player after he opted out and exceed the salary cap?
Anyway, I think James will stay in Miami provided that Pat Riley brings a good point guard (Steve Blake, Isaiah Thomas, Kyle Lowry, ...), a good center... or Melo. The ball is on Riley's side (and Bosh and Wade's). James opting out was just inevitable in order to rebuild the Heat team.

Is buying more expensive players the way to go for the Heat?

Its not that they're bringing in more max contract players, but just players that arent only worth the league minimum (I'm looking at you, Joell Anthony). The Heat have only ever won championships by bringing in ring chasers. Look at their rent-a-players for the 2006 championship: shaq, gary payton, antoine walker, jason capono, jason williams and james posey. Im going to include alonzo mourning on that list too because he had essentially come back for one more run after battling cancer or whatever he had. Wade was obviously way healthy and playing out of his mind back then too.

Anyways, the miami bench has nothing like that these days. Even though all those players were out of their primes, they were miles above any one on the heats bench now. Rashard lewis hasnt been shit since the Sonics were still around, I'm not even sure I saw Greg Oden play one minute straight, Allen and Battier are on the verge of retirement (with Battier actually retiring), Haslem has been getting shit kicked since that 06 championship, and Beasley/Cole/Chalmers are just lol worthy.

Jordan, Bird and Magic all won multiple championships because they had deep benches, and thats what the Heat are going to try to build now. I dont really think LeBron is going anywhere, because I dont see anywhere else having any better of a situation. The thing about being a repeat champion, making the finals in the past 4 years, and being a 4 time mvp is that players will make sacrifices to come to you now. There are alot of great free agents out there that could potentially come to miami..Luol Deng, Zach Randolph, Gortat,Spencer Hawes, Shawn livingston, Vince Carter, Trevor Ariza, Nick Young, Rodney Stuckey,. Danny Granger, Ramon Sessions, Kirk Hinrich, Andrew Bynum, Mo Williams, and maybe the return of Mike Miller.... if the Heat add any two of those players, and keep some of their current scrubs they have a decent shot at winning the finals.

Zack Randolph is staying in Memphis: http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/06/2 ... n-memphis/
Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton in Dallas... I really liked Jose Calderon, but even though, the Mavs are looking good for next season: http://www.nba.com/2014/news/06/25/knic ... f:nbahpt6d

This has been a really interesting draft so far, I didnt realize how deep this draft really is. Its almost pick 20 and there are some real steals in there :o

How the fuck has no one picked Shabazz Napier yet???
