Its not that they're bringing in more max contract players, but just players that arent only worth the league minimum (I'm looking at you, Joell Anthony). The Heat have only ever won championships by bringing in ring chasers. Look at their rent-a-players for the 2006 championship: shaq, gary payton, antoine walker, jason capono, jason williams and james posey. Im going to include alonzo mourning on that list too because he had essentially come back for one more run after battling cancer or whatever he had.
