Unless you used the metric system your whole life instead of customary, i'd imagine.
we dont use imperial what-so-ever here, yet if someone tells me their height in cm's i get confused (and i work in design... so its something i should know haha)

the metric system is so much easier to use, especially when doing conversions.

I never stack human feet so to me it doesn't really make sense.
Flight altitude in feet is such a ridiculous thing

Of the very few female friends I have, I'm the tallest. Always makes me feel even less feminine than I already do
Plus smaller girls are always cuter.
I'm not a fan of women that are like 6' but 5'5 is a good height
5'5 is not at all tall for a woman. A little bit short, I'd say!

I'm 6'3'' so on the extremely rare occasion I see a girl taller than me I just kinda stare like a rabbit looking into oncoming headlights.

I thought I was taller than you, but I think I'm about 6'2" at the most so maybe not.
I've somehow not twigged that you were 6'2". Having said that, most of my best mates are 6'2" so that might be why. Plus I was probably distracted by all that hair.

Nothing wrong with 5'5" at all. I think most women look up to (figuratively and literally) women who are taller, in slight envy. I know that's the reaction my mom gets as she's freakishly tall (your height) for her generation and race (she's 70). Everyone had high hopes for my sister when she had her growth spurt, but sadly for her (and much amusement to the rest of us), the spurt did not last long thanks to my dad's genes. I think short men love being out with tall women too, seems to make them feel big (look at Dudley Moore and Mick Hucknall).

My cousin's 6' tall and never even considered for a moment any man shorter than 6'. She ended up with a 6'5" (cuddly) behemoth. Your sister has nothing to worry about.
