Using reverb/delay on a Send Channel instead of the channel the plug-in is on.

I never understood why doing this is a good idea/

it's just easier than copy/pasting the same reverb/delay patch to each track. also that way they're all going to the same patch so they're all in sync and have a shared "character" (sort of like why people use the same reverb on each drum hit to make it seem like they're all from the same kit)

Not to mention saving on CPU power!

Reverb on the send is a must imho.
