Yibbadayibbada Cyrus, got your message and will pass this on to T-mus and Thomas, they seem to know the cheap places to stay. It is somewhere in this thread though. Otherwise, I will check out for a cheap place to stay.

And a message to everyone: the 'membership' notice on the flyer is nothing to worry about, but it will cost you another 3 euros. I am not sure why they use it, but it doesn't mean it is an exclusive thing. So total entrance fee is 15 euros, which amounts to 10 pounds.

thought it was 2 euros, but anyhow, its because some legal issues if the venue is for members only, like a clubhouse, not interesting at all, but i feel like saying things...

How many DJs are coming over? We are trying to organise a pre and/or after event.

CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!

:)

thank you :)

so, the thing is, enough dub-tourists and dj's coming over and all to make a little sister party for this one.
there are some options to be considered:

a PRE or a AFTER party?
PRE would be something like friday from 8 till 11 when the Deep Medi thing starts.
AFTER would be saturday, normal night i guess 11-12 till 4-5

does it have to be in Amsterdam, becouse maybe its easier to get a venue in Rotterdam which is n hour and a half by train from Dam.
i think its better to stick with A'dam, but maybe we can't get a venue this quick.

Who is coming and is prepaired to DJ for a small to none fee ?

the whole thing would be non-profit and pretty non-budget aswell, the financial things depends on the venue, but first we need a basic concept to present to the venue.

thank you for your time, and please answer some questions :)

Post by MARCHMELLOW » Thu Aug 16, 2007 12:38 pm

sounds very interesting indeed....

not sure i'm gonna be in any state to be DJing when i'm in Dam to be honest!

and althouhg i've been listening to dubstep for a few years, I've only been spinning Dubstep for a few months, so am not really confident enough in my abilities!

i thought i'd reply anyways, as no one else has yet!

PEACE!!

Seriously considering this one. It seems flying is cheaper than ferry, so it just goes to show there are actually no advantages to living in hull at all :(
Don't talk to me about soundsystems, I've been to Leeds...

September seems difficult, and I have tried looking around. I am afraid I can't be of any help in this department.
