Freedom of speech is expressing the way you want to whomever you want.
is that really what you believe? What about the rights and freedoms of those who make up your audience? people often forget that freedom is a two way street. It is not freedom if your "free speech" tramples my rights. the idea that free speech includes whatever you want and fuck all to the audience is a lie perpetuated by the children of reddit and 4chan. it is an entitled version of the concept that only takes the speakers rights into concern. a fallacy if there ever was one...
Their rights weren't 'trampled'. You don't have the right to not be offended and you don't have the right to not catch a glimpse of a cock, but if you don't want to look.. look away. Like I said, that's kind of counter to the point of 'freedom of speech'. There's only freedom of speech as a whole, once you forbid 1 thing, you stop having freedom of speech all together.
Society would be a better place if people started to respect this a little more and stopped trying get people to stop saying shit they find offensive, and hide behind 'majority rules' to get it their way. People will think things you don't like and tbh, I'd rather have people express their shitty views in public than keep it a secret. Shows me who I should avoid.
People think stuff you don't agree with and might offend you dude. Taking their right away to express those views so you can live in this bubble where everyone believes stuff you can handle is more offensive than anything they could say.
