@ Nev: Yeah I suppose there was that time when Burial was a mysto person
and most people assumed it was male
but that was probably because most ds producers are male i.e realistic guess
Was my mild surprise at Ikonika being female, after listening to her tunes for some time, sexist?
Was my mild disappointment with her last album sexist?
-q-
Are all assumptions based on a generally true propositions unreasonably prejudiced
or just the way we try to deal with reality by establishing recurring patterns?

Are the isms equivalent to a reminder that cars don't always stop at pedestrian crossings?
i.e. stay awake to other posibilities...

if so, yeah ok

@ Nev: you'd think so nowdays
but Vaccine used to be much admired on here
for her tunes and charm

@ chekout: yu reckon it's about intelligence?
I'm inclined to consider it the result of long practice
observing what's going on in the mind that does my thinking
it's not as if I own or control it
so it's kind of fascinating having such intimate access.
It seems that that the more it becomes aware of being watched,
the more it writhes, invents & tries to explain its world to me
but I don't trust it;
too readily it offers convenient beliefs
& attempts to manipulate my actions on the basis of a spurious reality.
Part of my posting on here is to expose it to others' scrutiny
and watch it squirm in the light.
Ain't that what you're doing?
Can't say I'm real good at answering discussion points (in the terms asked) either...easier to ask questions I reckon.

I suggest OP gets out more away from the computer if he wishes to meet girls who like Burial or anything else.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.
