:dunce: um.....maybe because they have disco shows? no one claimed it was a strictly disco station, I have no idea what you're on about.

the point of demanding for it so much when it's never even been part of the station.

Disco laid the foundation for pretty much all dance music and culture following it. Makes sense for Rinse to have a couple disco shows.

fonti and bushkin did their last show on friday btw, doesn't make sense to keep them on just because they were the forefront of the garage sound years ago. people are wrapped up in this backwards progression too much. more disco on rinse uno *sigh*

It's a fucking dance music station. Disco is one of the most important dance genres ever created. Don't see why this bothers you so much.

And this warrants that sound to be on Rinse more? Stop playing the moron please. I don't listen to it as much as I used to but it's more than a "fucking dance music station" PAL, you'll grasp that concept when you realise how pointless disco shows are.

People that listen to Rinse enjoy disco. Disco is a type of dance music. Therefore they have disco shows. Not a crazy concept by any means.

i feel like you're trying to troll so im just gonna leave it.

btw, you nor i speak for the listeners of rinse, to say that they enjoy disco because two people (including yourself) in this thread do is a bit of a vacuous statement. till next time,

Personally I think there probably is too much disco on rinse at the moment. Not that I don't love disco but I think 2-3 shows should be the absolute max. Starting to diverge pretty heavily from its tower block roots i feel

I, too, like the disco shows on rinse. :) You kind of sound like a jerk, Lurka.

Scope: T. Williams usually plays good stuff like that, try and find the Deadboy special he did, that was a good one and all vinyl.

boring, stop banging the same drum to try and prove your non-existent point. this is the angle you're trying to come at:

lohl's

i definitely want rinse to stop pushing new talent and fwd sounds so that we can diverse into 80's disco by dj's who aren't even fully clued up in the sound and mix it pretty atrociously.

more disco uno. smh.

joke thing is that the people suggesting that are probably the same people that complain when guys like dusk and blackdown, vivek, distance and all them man there aren't given any proper airtime on the station.

no worries brobro, disco is the new fwd sound.
