Me and 2 friends had been Christmas shopping, come back from the city centre and get off the train. There's a massive park in between the train station and my house, but you can walk around it, but it's freezing, and quicker to get home to go through the park. It's dark, but we're just bowling through like badmen. About halfway through the park, we see what looks like somebody riding a bike, dressed all in white. As it gets closer, we see there is no bike, I can't really explain how it was moving, don't want to say gliding, but imagine somebody moving on a bike, then just take the bike away. It gets closer to us (it hasn't shown any sign it knows we're there BTW) and it passes this fenced off basketball court/5-a-side area, and with a reference point, can see this thing is about 8 foot tall(Probably sounds like I'm exaggerating, but trust me on this one) and it has proper long arms held out in front of it (at first why we thought it was somebody on a bike), plus it is all white/dressed all in white. We decide to dip then, my one mate agreed with me, it was defo a monster, my other mate still to this day says it isn't, but offers no explanation to what it is. Creepy enough, but the story continues.
Me and my mate (the one that agreed it was a monster) were at the pub, and we got talking about the monster, and how we should go and look for it again (we were pretty tipsy, so was more just pissing around than being serious) so we walk to the same park as before, just expecting to walk through and see nothing. We get about 200 metres in to the park when we see something in the distance crouch down. ALL WHITE MOTHER FUCKER. We stand there staring this thing down, I'd say it's about 100/150 metres away. Then it stands up, moves closer, crouches back down. I think both of us didn't really believe this was happening, then it got up, moved closer and crouched back down, so we dip again.
This is still not the end. At the pub a month or so later, with a completely unrelated mate, haven't seen him in months, we start talking about weird shit we've seen, I'm just about to tell him about the monster, he pipes up with a story. He was playing football with his dad in lit up area of a park near his dad's house (I'd say about 4/5 miles from the original park) when in the distance he sees some guy dressed all in white, and he thought he was really close to them. Then the thing's path took it behind some goal posts at the end of the pitch, then my mate realised it was behind the goalposts, and was still taller than them, puts it about 7/8 foot tall.
Get home that night, a completely separate mate tells a story on facebook, him and some of his mates had been pissing around in Sutton Park, (a MASSIVE park about 10/11 miles away from the original park) and for a long part of the night, something tall and all dressed in white kept following them at a distance, and crouching down behind things to watch them.
So in total, I've saw it twice, my friend Aron has seen it twice, my friend Ryan and his dad saw something very similar once, and my friend Tom and his friends have seen something very similar at least once.
i want to believe

Re: Ghosts
I don't even disbelieve in 'ghosts'. I think there's more (or less?) to reality than we know of and I'm not really that convinced of the nature of the realness of everything around me. But I think there's a certain arrogance in being convinced of something you can't prove to other people. Our minds fool us all the time. Why so convinced that they're fooling us with the physical world but they're being truthful with the inexplainable?

Haha yeah, I made that page, primarily just for my mates, had like, 6 fans, then one day I checked and it had like 150.
The picture is a rough drawing I did of what it looked like.

I wish I could experience a ghost, hell as a teen we used to hang out in graveyards and "haunted" places
I think the paranormal is real, human spirits and ghosts not so much
it's obvious anyone who does any psy drugs there is some paranormal.
much some shrooms or acid and there are ghosts

Me and two friends were riding in a car on our way to pick up a third. Middle of the afternoon, sunny out. We were on a sort of curvy road that's a popular route off a major expressway but it's not a big road, just regular one lane in either direction. It has a big state park kinda thing on the right with a chain link fence and lots of trees/wooded area along the border. So it's like road, a few yards of grass, a chain link fence, and right behind the fence is some woods. It's a low traffic time of day only a few cars headed either direction.
Now the next few things happen over a matter of five seconds -- We head around the bend of one of these curves in the road and I instantly notice something's presence on the right of our car. It's humanoid, for sure but very hard to focus on. Composed entirely of the blackest black i've ever seen. Like as though it were a cutout of this dimension in the shape of a creature, but within it's own outline is absolute nothingness. It's limping/lurching heavily to one side, as though it had a badly injured leg, along the right side of the road where the grass meets the road. It looks very short to me, like 4 and a half feet maybe. It also looks remarkably two-dimensional. Like as we pass by it it's form seems to disappear and reappear into our plane like it were a paper cut-out of a person, but deep dark black (like i said before). It's like it's rippling in and out of this spacial dimension. as our car rolls past, i'm watching this thing seem to lurch closer and closer to the middle of the street. It's almost close enough as we pass that we would have ran it down with the car. I spin my head around as we drive past immediately to get a view of wtf I just saw, and I've never felt anything like this, but.. it's like trying to look at it was painful. It felt like the creature and my eyes were magnetized with the same polarity so it was pushing my eyeballs away from it. Best way i can describe it. but I tried my absolute hardest to lock my eyes on the thing, and as I'm watching it just slinks into one of the shadows of the trees and disappears into the shadows right before my eyes.
I say nothing as I turn around, and at first there's a stagnant silence in the car. I didn't believe my own eyes at first, and debated even mentioning it. about 5 seconds later, just as I go to open my mouth and say something, the driver exclaims: "Ok, I'm turning this car around and if we don't see somebody or something on the side of the road back there, we're going to have a serious problem." We all then voice our agreement and turn the car around as each of us begins describing our account of what the fuck we just saw. Both the driver and the other witness describe it as massive, like 7.5 feet tall, and the driver explains that he barely noticed at first but as we rolled past he genuinely feared that he had ran someone down. That's how close to the car it looked to him. He and the other guy are both sure that it was dangerously close to the vehicle, like we ought to have side swiped it at the least. I, however, maintain that it looked extremely short, and closer to the side of the road, though it was lurching out toward the car and got alarmingly close. We all agreed about its limping way of movement.
We are headed down the road scanning the side by the trees as best we can and see nothing. I'm describing how I believe i saw it disappear into the shadows.
The other two considered the possibility they saw some prankster or silly person in a crazy black yeti costume or something, and maybe they jumped the fence into the park. But none of us really felt it was that. I emphasized it's 2-dimensional properties, and variance in height, the lurching, and the feeling of trying to look at it when i turned my head to view its disappearance. The other two guys concur that as it passed us, they hardly noticed it but definitely SAW it, and no one said a thing until we all needed someone to confirm we actually saw something at all.
during those few seconds after it happened, we all felt the dark anger of the creature, as though it were seriously pissed that it had been seen.
From then on, I had no choice but to believe in other spacial dimensions at the least, and the existence of life in those dimensions, dark energy, good/evil, and it appears that this fallen demon had made a mistake, found itself rippling into our space, and pretty much right into our car.
The driver still swears he drove right into it. The other guy insists it was almost 8 ft .tall and looked like a hairy black yehti. I still can't say it looked like anything but the short outline of a creature filled with the blackest pool of black I've ever seen. It all happened swiftly and felt liek the kind of thing you see in your peripheral, even though i consciously tried to look right at it.
We don't even like talking about it cus it's too real. but i feel like i ought to share the story. every time i do, i feel a sense of this demon out there somewhere, growing angry that we caught a glimpse of its world, and revealed it to others.

Re: Ghosts
There is something fascinating about the paranormal and lore/stories that " totally happened"
Everyone wants to believe in ghosts, and wants to experience them. I think we all want an afterlife to be proven.
Does anyone else urban expore and photog?

Re: Ghosts
This story doesn't really compare to the others, but here it goes anyway.
I was like 12 and my friend was like 14 and we were riding our bikes around and ended up at a small old school church with a graveyard in the back. We were weaving thru the headstones and jumping our bikes off of some grave markers that looked like a large speed bump. We had a bag of chocolate chips with us and my buddy was taking huge mouth fulls and gobbing then on grave stones. Once we got bored of that we thought we should see if we could get into the church. We walked up some stairs to the front door which was obviously locked, but then noticed a window to the basement. Any plan we might have been thinking to get through it was quashed when we noticed it had the words HELP ME written from the inside. We were talking about how creepy and weird that was when all of a sudden branches started breaking out of a tree. There was no wind at all and it was spring or summer so its not like wind was blowing dead branches out of the tree, nor was there some fat ass bird breaking them. It was more like 6 or 7 small branches maybe more, just mysteriously falling to the ground. We just looked at each other and knew it was a good time to get the fuck out of there.
I still to this day think it was a ghost pissed off at us for our disrespect or something along those lines.
