Sorry i gotta dissagree, Grime is still really big, with the likes of Skepta Wiley Jammer JME Flow Dan Sick Sense Cru All the Newham gens Gully Gang and many more, So many big producers out there such as Rossi b n Luca Maniac Danny Weed Target Wiley i just got a cd from scratchy the other eday with 20 fresh vocals and instrumentals. Big up Taregt n Danny Weed for all the Aim Highs. Playing Aim High2 now still sounds fresh. As for Funky House its fucking massive, i mean how can you not feel the vibes, admittedly there is some crap funky house tunes, same as any other music genre. Funky House has such uplifting FUNKY nice as you like beats and vocals, some of the tunes are pure tropical melodys

Aim High 1 and The Lord of the Decks 1 are still two of the best mix-tapes ever created. They get played on the regs.

and the support pays out in the long run, not if something isnt trendy anymore dump it in a hot sec and over.

if there are troubles solve it dont build a wall around it. nameen??

I might be wrong, but I believe that the applicable law was changed last year, making it an offence to advertise/promote illegally broadcast radio, or give advice on how to do so.

For example, I happen to play on an 'internet only' radio station that is also coincidentally broadcast (illegally) on the FM airwaves. We are asked only to talk about or refer to the online station, and are specifically asked not to mention the letters 'FM' at all, or even refer to our local audience, instead alluding to a worldwide listenership instead.

This is why sites with detailed instructions on how to build equipment & broadcast illegally such as www.y2kpirates.co.uk are no longer in operation.

Frankly anything that helps to keep the heat off committed pirate radio operators is a plus in my book.

i used to be a proper grime head but i stopped listnin to it because:
there aint no good vinyl releases for the DJs, well not enought to keep it intrestin.

can't imagine it would be more than a temporary ban then.. as far as offenses go, that doesn't seem particularly bad. especially compared to all that shotgun drama a while back.

Still trying to see exactly what your getting at, at the moment I just feel like your posting for the sake of posting.

You obviously do not see the benefit of a legal radio that promotes grime and dubstep (well, not so much grime at the moment) 24/7 along with bursts of funky house.

You know what i totally agree with you there, nowhere near enough vinyl releases. Especily compared to Dubstep, Dubstep is firing at the mo. Sept i still listen and mix grime, although Dubsteps where im at lately

Well that's what I've been saying.. at the moment, it's stuff like this ban and their unwillingness to communicate about it that makes me worry a little about their agenda. I guess I just can't see a legal radio station being that specialised, and am afraid of another KissFM style scenario.

Because watch when all the trendy magazines start pushing grime again.

Grime hasn't changed. People are still running up on radio shows and kicking down doors. People are still bunnin weed in the studio, rags. This is why I like grime. Geeneus can't contain it. Axe.FM, your time. I only listened to rinse for Spooky, Snatcher, Tubby, Scientist & Maximum.

Now I'll just get the sets I want off the blogspot and lock onto Manic, Axe & Pyro.

Hold tight Ghetto for basically dunning grime on rinse, lol.

Still. I honestly hope that Geeneus rethinks this. Rinse helped 2 build grime, and grime helped 2 make rinse what it is today despite every1 here hating on it. It would be sad 2 see Rinse go down the same route as Freeze and On Top.
