with the like 1 hour sleep day thing, it prob halluconiations 8bit coz like a scientific fact is if u dont liek for 63 hours or so or fucking aint had enuff sleep for long time, us tart halluconatiing

heres my theory: the astral plane, is where all human thought-forms exist. anything thats ever been thought-up, exists there. the shadows we see are just a form of "astral garbage". I doubt they're sentient beings who are peering into our dimension, or demons, or ghosts or whatever. just thought-form trash.

i hate to think, btw, that having done drugs at all in the past would discredit someone's personal account of these things.

not sure if any of you watch the us version of "Ghost Hunters" .. but that shit is crazy sometimes. the other night they were "hunting" some big old evil somthing-rather, and the camera guy got knocked on his ass for some unknown reason.. and was swaring that something went through him and forcefully knocked him over.
the next episode they had the camera guy watch the footage of it.. you see his soundbox that is hanging around his neck frigging JUMP UP AND SMACK HIM IN THE FACE BY ITSELF! they couldnt explain it away, which is what they really try and do.

needless to say, the sceptic camera guy isnt a sceptic any more.. and he quit.

Haha ok, just he said there was some dark figure that used to move behind the shower curtain in the corner of the room, and would make this foul smell. Now knowing my mate i was just like "no, that's just your toilet" but he said it was something like sulphur and burnt wood.

Apparently he once saw the figure actually behind him in the mirror about 7 feet tall, completely black, like someone wearing a cloak or something. Reminds me of the line from the mothman prophesies (or the last track on the first burial album) when the guy talks about seeing something in the mirror that he knows was not his reflection.

Fucking hell. I still maintain i don't believe in any of this shit, but damn, scary. Ha speaking of EVP, after finishing watching a dvd with my girlfriend i turned the dvd player off, but left the tv on, with no incoming signal, (tv signal comes through the dvd player or something), and we kept hearing people talking outside. Thinking this was a bit odd we waited a while then realised it was coming from the tv, which wasn't connected to anything.

The voice said "There is a powerful force moving through the cosmos, and all will be at peace".

Great so my mate has a shadow people infestation and all i get is fucking hippies.

just incase there are some things we cant explain !!! why does everything have to be rationalised as some human condition. i tink its cos our generation are obsessed wiv self analysis. i just find it unsettling that ppl atribute things we cant explain to (drug inflicted) madness all the time. i'd rather think there were ghosts. or maybe not.

i had a real bad experience once.. not going to go into it, but it changed my perception of everything.. after i had changed my perception of everything, if you get what im saying. i am still not the same to this day.

one of those "coincidences" brought me to work with a native healer (shaman) .. just him and i.. working the most random job you could think a shaman and spun out dreadlock working.. hanging fiberoptic cables (no joke).

well.. we were talking, and he said that he saw a black shadow attached to me, which he felt was the source of my sufferings. (i had tried sage, prayer, meditation, talked to a priest, etc).. i was stuck in this alternate reality for months, and i learned to function in it.. but was in all actuality, insane (corridors of the mind.. a fucking maze, i tell ya).

he told me to cut some of my hair and place it in a bag with salt and let it chill over night, with no light getting at it.. then in the morning, set the bag on fire. i had little faith that it would work (shit, at that point, i had little faith at all) .. but i did it.

im not sure if it was that event that turned things around.. but i am feeling a lot better now. a LOT better now.

Asian people have "Fox" spirits - The fox spirits can drive people crazy and lead them astray, but they will also deliver messages and serve warnings as protectors. It's a samuri thing. There are hundreds of stories about fox spirits..It's one of my favorite things..

haha this thread is jokes. i get quite alot of 'paronormal' shit happen to me...lately ( last 2 months or so) have been involving mad dream related happenings and coincidences....endless people reccomending me films about dreams without me mentioning my experiences...old freind revealing his aunt is a dream interpreter...recurrung dreams from childhood coming back etc...

im not talking standard dreams either-- purely vibes and feelings type of dreams that cant really be worded or desribed properly...bright white lights representing deceased relatives knocking me down to the gorund etc....

another weird one was recently a 'dream' of me in my bed at night so it seemed quite real anyway then i got this mad shock of energy through my body...wasnt sure if i was leviating but my body was all tensed up and almost spazzing out but the sensation was of great relief...cant explain it it was just this mad reassuring feeling that felt better than anything but cant be compared to anything if that makes sense...

not to mention the lucid dreams i've been fucking with lately

took a while for me to be able to have one but i've had about 5 in total now...most of them i just decide to fly and have these long vivid long flights. i got bored once and knew that i had flew quite a lot so i tried to sink into the ground thinking i could do what i wanted in my dream but instead i just went and layed on the floor like how i would in real life and woke up :/

1 of em was also really quite dark and trippy ...lucid nightmare almost.
again, in my bed but looking out of my window to see all the houses all covered in woodland and dirt and stuff...like some kind of enchanted woods with weird coloured sky....then there was moving spectrum lights everywhere...like when you reflect a cd onto a wall...

but yeah it was fucking me up cos my mind new my body was unconcious, but my unconcious mind was concious that it had became concious....something like that...
basically i was kenw i was dreaming but couldnt wake up from it. perception of time in dreams is kinda weird. felt like i was stuck in my dream for hours but it could of just been minutes... such a surreal feeling...like being trapped in some weird dimension or something...

but yeah this lucid thing, give it a go people its strange

haha very weird...also in relation to the fox thing and the asian traditions...

today i only just got round to watching a film called 'dreams' by akira kurosawa which just so happend to be reccomended or mentioned by someone on this forum...

one of the sequences in the film is about that fox thing...

"There is an old legend in Japan that states that when the sun is shining through the rain, the foxes have their weddings. The astral plane/astral travel is nothing more than your brain functioning on a semi-conscious level. The evidence we have about astral travel and all that is anecdotal evidence which is nothing more than hearsay.

Astral travel is just an event produced by your brain either in REM sleep or in a deep meditative state. If you do a little research on sleeping and our subconscious mind you'll find all sorts of twisted things happen in our head and all those mystical goings on are no more than products of our own mind.

The brain is such a powerful thing and it still has even the most repsected people in the scientific community baffled. Hell, we can have full on hallucination's without the use of drugs!!

8bit, all the talk of the paranormal is all interesting/scary but I really don't think this is any more than mind trickery. I've suffered from Hypnagogic Hallucinations (I don't take drugs and I'm not crazy) where I have had both visual and auditory hallucinations and have heard male and female voices call out to me, say names of family members etc. when I am either falling a sleep or a sleep and wake hearing things. The bastard is the Hypnagogic shocks which feel like you've just been struck with a cattle prod and you jerk, hear and feel the shock.

You may have a touch of it yourself, it's quite possible to be actually wake not like you are reading this) but your brain waves are in the delta state (sleep)... this can also cause lucid dreams.

You'd be really amazed what happens when you sleep, I sometimes wish I could record dreams and stuff, how mental would that be!

You should try and de-stress and relax (no weed or anything else), get some early nights, don't get yourself knackard out and see how it goes for the week.
