Nothing to do with crazy d mate, the whole dubstep crew got involved with the rewinds. Skream, Chef, Mala, Pokes, Crazy... everyone up in that booth had a trigger finger last night, and with good reason.

What does this sound like? I know that's something of a ridiculous question- does it have female vocals, strings etc.? Probably something completely different, but plasticman played it.

Keep thinking of the energy for loefah/mala(h?)- madness.

What can I say that hasn't been said?! Heavy, heavy, heavy night. Worth every minute (hour) on that Megabus :) Proper meditation for Kode 9 and Mystikz...N-Type and Skream played blinding sets too. Unfortunately I was shattered by the time Distance came on, so I bailed then. But still. Oh, and the crowd were something else...such a diverse mix, good vibes all the way...special.

Yeah, £3.50 for a bottle of beer was a joke, no two ways about it. I had 4 I think = £14. Waste. Really glad that I had a few spliffs pre-rolled. And yeah, security were more than odd. Back into Third Bass, perhaps? It can't be that much smaller than the room used last night - lose the security, back to the Red Stripe...:)

Got mugged Friday night which meant no phone so couldn't link up wi anyone, only made it for an hour and a half between 12 and 1.30 due to extreme heat stroke and lack of friends enjoying it - taking more like minded sorts to next un.

Was supe heavy for the bit I made though. My first one, and could never have appreciate just how heavy bass weight was going to be. Sick as fuck.

fucking fantastic dmz
N-type played a blinder, lots of really precise, long mixes, he had two tunes playing almost all the time!
Kode 9 dropped the vibe right down before bringing it right back up, and it was awesome to hear burial stuff over the system.
Mala and Loe played, I think, my favourite set I've ever heard them play -so many amazing tunes still not out, mud, ruffage , hunter, learn... Next level! Those two have done so much, to bring us all together at DMZ, the vibe, the tunes, the bass. They are fucking legends.
Skream kicking off with Deeper concentration V.I.P - loving the new warrior queen vocal on "me love it", music to make us stagga always killing it...
Had to bail out during distance, but had a great great night.

Having said that, I have to agree with everyone - running out of Red Stripe after half an hour is a pure JOKE, and the security were WAY too full on. Mala needs to have a word before the next one - DMZ are making money for that venue, they deserve a better service from the staff.
Let's go back to 3rd bass - sound was even better down there!
and there were too many rewinds - I love the moment before the drop and buliding the hype and the vibe - that moment of space, but I also like to hear a good dj blend two tunes together - you don't need to pull back every single tune, no matter how big it is!

my favourite sgt pokes moment - "get dirty like your grandpa!"

damn what a night... tons of good moments.

ntype was live, dope dope mixing. kode 9 murdered it for me - just amazing selection... Cant believe no one mentioned the Ying Yang Twins track he started off with!? Never thought i'd be so happy to hear it but on that system it was huge... prince was sick too... did that get reloaded or did i dream that? :? Proper feeling kode's entire selection, 9 Samouri tipped me over... And then DMZ absolutely rinsed it... good to see the place so live, nice vibes etc...
security were def a bit moody but for some reason never picked up on me smoking in their faces... couple of times dude stood next to me while i had a spliff but did fuck all... weird...
Had to leave half way thru skream's set, which was sick too... was trashed... the bass was proper crushing my chest... i kept losing my breath when i stood in certain parts of the floor...

All in all though it was a smashing nite... hash cakes before getting there may not have been the smartest idea tho, lol... was smashed by 1am...

big up to DMZ for putting another dope night on, and everyone who reached...

Amazing night. Took a few friends who were blown away and will definitely be reaching the next one. Great vibes. The selections were outstanding. Having to wait two months for the next one is a bit long though.....know what I mean?
