its annoying but dont let "THEM" (lol if there really was such a thing) have a grip on you. if boris wants to stop people drinking on public transport then fair enough! let the man have his fun

I have no idea what this means lol!
I dont think letting someone "have their fun" still counts as a reason to let someone do something if it affects (millions?) of peoples lives!

good point actually, its not like booze turns normal people into raging stnuc by some kind of magic, that only really happens if they have that trait to their personality anyway, its simply unlocked by the booze
that's definitely what it is with me

I don't want to sound like a bitch but I find it intimidating towards others if people are consuming alcohol on public transport.
I know a lot of people such as OAPs are affected by those drinking.
Minor, just means i'll have to consume more rounds at home before going out.

ANYONE UP FOR THIS THEN??!!
"It's last orders on the booze tube:
Plans to ban the drinking of alcohol on London's transport system have been unveiled by new mayor Boris Johnson. So Saturday 31 May is our last opportunity to get smashed on London transport without facing the wrath of TFL staff... scary.
The plan: Jump on the Circle Line at squiffy o'clock with gallons of booze and see where we end up. All donning blonde Boris wigs of course."

Went to one of these circle line parties before, like a mad mini carnival inside the train. Driver tried to make people leave at westminster but they wouldn't get off

that was different tho... cos mushrooms always were class A if they were "prepared for consumption" ... i.e. dried out...
it was simply a loophole that means that fresh mushrooms were still legal... that's all that they changed

I have to say that it seems kinda dumb to drink on mass transit (subways, buses....just seems very hazardous.)
I really think its unwise to drink on an airplane, boats, and such.....there have been many incidents with alcohol and to be honest I'm totally ok with not drinking on mass transit. I do all my drinking at the pub, or at home.
I wouldn't call drinking a right but a privilege and people abuse that privilege. If you want to drink in public, thats fine....but drinking on a bus....thats just asking for trouble as people can't really get away from a drunk causing trouble in a cramped bus or subway car.
