Wrong. I say "couldn't care less" and I am a yank. I have corrected a few fellow yanks in my time for what it's worth.

Once read somewhere that it is difficult to hate an individual - unless you have loved them. Racial hatred for example is based on stereotyping people - to make them into one person sort of.

Think it means more like envious in the context of urban electronic music.
