Totally off subject.

I was thinking about this the other day and ytee's posted reminded me.

Why do people from the US say "I could care less" rather than "I couldn't care less," as we do in the UK?

Surely "I could care less" implies that you are not fully indiiffernt to whatever you are talking about.
ytee is from canadaland, eh.
Eh, don worry aboot it!

I've heard Yanks using it as well - you're all guilty.
Wrong. I say "couldn't care less" and I am a yank. I have corrected a few fellow yanks in my time for what it's worth.

This is a valid point. I still run into people who think it's all halfstep... and in the US "slowed down DnB"

If only folks could hear the breadth of what's out there I think you'd find many an uneducated ear to be turned...

but thems with their noses out of joint will never go away sadly.
I get this all the time too.

Country was decent 70's and older. I love this one - David Allen Coe - You Never Even Called Me by My Name http://youtube.com/watch?v=LEo8poVlQrM

Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, COME ON! If you can't get into those guys, you don't like music.

Once read somewhere that it is difficult to hate an individual - unless you have loved them. Racial hatred for example is based on stereotyping people - to make them into one person sort of.

Think it means more like envious in the context of urban electronic music.

Could be wrong mind
