I've completely come to a dubstep standstill and been listening to far too much gabba/breakcore/hardcore for my own good recently

Hi all! Pls i have fuckin question. Yesterday in club, I´ve heard something ultrabrutal. It was had dubstep drumz and beat, but it was been very glitchy and breaky. Sounds very similar to breakcore, but with dubstep beat and often with dubstep bass too!! I must have it!! Anyone knows what this style called??? It´s glitchstep or breakstep?? Or BREAKCORE DUBSTEP??! AND WHAT´S THE ARTISTS?? PLS HELP!! and sorry for my english...

I do. I am happy to post at a forum where there is SOME appreciation for breakcore.

First post, yes.

The Flashbulb is a winner, pretty much. Actually, the best stuff Benn Jordan has released is... his stuff as Dr. Lefty. 'Ah Shwe Bah' is pretty much the best song, ever. Yes.

Was at Dour, hit up that Drumcorps, Otto Von Schirach and Droon. =| The breakcore evening was great.

I've been listening a lot to Le Crabe, Rotator, Acrnym, ChopChop, FFF and Xanopticon lately. Oh and some VSnares. Mu-Ziq (some of his post-2000 output counts, I would say) has been getting rotation lately.

I've been meaning to do some ambient black metal (me on guitar and vocals) mixed with breakcore some time, not sure when that'll happen and how it'll work out.

Oh and Bong-Ra's 2 and a half hour set at Lowlands 2008 is my favorite performance ever. First breakcore musician I heard back in 2003.

the breakcore crossover dubstep thingy is being referred to as 'grimecore' or 'dubcore' or 'psychostep' or 'corestep' or whatever...
u need all the RUFF (peace off sublabel) records and anything produced by broken note, ebola, floorclearer, cardopusher ... dubstepwise
basicly it's dubstep made with 'breakcore' samples
meaning more distortion, sickness, cut up stuff, breaks, digitally enhanced snares and basslines, eclectic sources for samples and sounds, crispy things, (glitches and so on) and a badass motherfucker attitude =)

I flew from breakcore into dubstep but recently I've been buyin' and spinnin more steppas and less breakcore actually... but u can notice in my older dubstepmixes that the influence was clearly more eclectic/breaky than garage or dub...

all just moments in time...
