Srsly.

I don't like everything he writes or everything he plays but the man is fundamentally unfuckwithable.

it could happen
Joker most of his tunes which have been released so far before he was 18. Kapsize EP, Guly Brook Lane, Retro Racer, Hollybrook Park and 80s maybe? My mate from KOAN sound would have been 16 when Clowny/Blessed was made.
That's true, but I'm gettin at the fact that I *might* put out a vinyl release of some shape or form before I turn 18.

THIS FORUM IS A FUCKING JOKE......I'M SICK OF READING SHIT LIKE THIS

can i just say that WE producers OWE U NOTHING!!!...

music is our love and an outlet to express ourselves, tunes coming out in stores, is our way of sharing it with U the world, every positive thing that comes from that is a bonus.

skream being where he is, is a reflection of his hard work, in life u get what u put in, it is not for U or I to speculate wether he is genius or not, IT IS WHAT IT IS!!

skream's musical journey is far from over, the scene changes everyday with every tune that is made all over the world.

stop dwelling on the past and the future, and just roll with the here and now, because that is all that truly matters

skream has done a lot for me and antisocial, and is a major part of the foundation of this music that we call "dubstep"

ollie, when u see this(which no doubt u will) take no notice, because after all the hype, and girls, and people saying "yes dubstep is cool" go's

its just gonna be us the producers,dj's and the REAL heads picking up the peices.
ITS THE END

Why you going so overboard??

Skream's got pretty much universal praise from this thread
it is not for U or I to speculate wether he is genius or not
Last time i checked this was a music forum... as long as no one straight up slags someone off, then i think a discussion like this can only be healthy

Pretty childish remark from someone who i respect and enjoy listening to on the regular...

ALSO... The date you join a forum isn't a reference to when you started liking the music... use some fucking common sense.

I don't understand what your problem is with this topic of discussion... the way you worded your first post is super aggressive and i can't see what's prompted that. THAT'S ALL

whats the problem if i have a problem?

at the end of the day music is my life, and my life is personal to me,

skream is good friend and is also personal to me

me and loads of other producers have dedicated time, money, relationships,
and various other PERSONAL things to this scene

all i am saying is sometimes u just have to shut up and listen, discussing wether he is a genius or not isn't going to change anything

i know this is a forum, and i know about freedom of speech, blah blah blah

but it hurts when i as a producer reads comments by people who do not have the slightest idea of the struggle that we producers go thru everyday
just to even make the music let alone put it out.

i'm sorry for looking aggressive but again this shit is personal!!! if it wasn't i wouldn't even bother making music.
ITS THE END

Fair play to you... you might not think the thread is worthwhile, but i found it pretty interesting to gauge people's opinions on one skream, i.e one of the scene's cornerstones.

Skream fucking deserves all the props he's getting, and anyone who slags him off without offering a constructive opinion is quite frankly a retard. So i guess i agree with you in some respect.

Some of the comments on this forum for the last few months really have been quite ridiculous.

really fine words here mr quest. As a 22 year old with nothing but the music and my creativity, the guys that are living the dream are a real inspiration and make me wanna succeed even more.
