dreamizm speaks sense, can't believe people have the attidude of 'it's all the same' sort of thing...anyway, when I went to the dam, my favoruites included:

Isolator hash
Gold polm,
Afghan Hash, cheap as fuck!

Amnesia haze
Super silver haze
grey haze
sage haze, tastes and smells like stuffing, had a quart around christmas time, fucking perfect!

thats the difference between england and the dam, hardly ever get proper haze, sativa strains over here, usually indica, although I had some armageddon over here a while back that was one of the best tasting strains ive ever had, tasted like sherbet, at the minute I have some afghan big bud, which is niiiiiiice

Yeah, there are differences between strains, but I pretty much agree with Firky. There's a sort of baseline high that all weed gets you.... some weed gets you there quicker, some weed takes you a slightly different route, but it all gets you fucking stoned.... it's the same chemicals going into you afterall.

Having said that, I'm happy enough to get geeky and talk about Cider Brandy or take the piss out of mates drinking Magners with ice, so I guess if someone takes as big an interest in different types of weed, it's no real big deal.

I think the difference is that people only get that kind of knowledge about weed with a pretty formidable habit, which often makes people a little bit dull... if it was legalised, we'd all be talking about favourite strains perfectly normally because they'd be being advertised as better than each other all the time... so weed wouldn't just be "weed" anymore. We'd all be talking about Hindu Kush and Northern Lights in the same ways we talk about Glenfiddich and Club Havana.

As it stands, it's difficult enough to get hold of in this country that weed IS just weed. I'm not going to turn down a score because the guy's product smells a bit too Sativa for me.

i just read the first page of this...its fucking absurd to say that all high grade is the same. Every plant tastes different & every plant gives a different high. And thats not psychosomatic bullshit its fucking mother nature. Sure, 90% of people who have names for their strains are full of shit so they can get higher prices, but that doesnt mean some guys dont actually know wtf they are talking about.

My people can normally tell me the strain of what they have available, but this hardly ever changes the price of the product. I mean if i am gonna pay 50 or 60 an 8 then imma pay that because its fucking nice herb, not because of the name attached. However, i do like to know the name cus if i like it then i will want it if it comes back.

Sour Diesel for example is one of the best i've had that i can remember. Thats what it fucking was. period. But then a year later some fucker tries to sell me "Sour Diesel" at a crazy price. Fuck off, thats not what it fucking is. learn your strains!!

all smoke is not the same. dont be a douche but dont be ignorant either.

The supposed 'Cheese' I have come across is usually a more orange colour and smells stupidly strong.

Could be mistaken, stopped taking notice of what strains they are as I only seem to have dial-a-dealers.

Every week I go to this place which is 2 blocks from my house, I walk inside and say "Hi, can I have a 1/8 superpolm please?" and they reply with "sure mate, that'll be 10 euro".
