Liked it, the synth work isnt particularly dubstep, but with the 2step drums still it sounds really good, would be an awesome one to hear half way through a set... wouldnt mind a 320 if you've got one?

Bash it, would be nice to know what's good place to start improving.
Ditch the chiptune shit it gave me a headache, tighten up the drums, make them crisper, sharper. the bassline sounds like it was meant for a completely different track, and is very flat.
Well the track would be pretty much nothing without the tune (?) so I'll try to make it less aggresive/annoying or just go for something different.

I'll try to do something with the bassline too, I had feeling it ain't fitting in too. Is the drum pattern itself any good?

The chiptune feel made me feel like it was gonna drop into like a Gabba tune, the drum pattern is ok, maybe you could change it up a little bit more though at some point.

id just be a bit more sparing with the chiptune, instead of having it constantly blaring.

Yep kick drum is shit :p
The song sounds good, my only suggestion is to speeden up your drums abit at 1:08 when your lead kicks in, maybe don't speed them up but add some high hats/percussion to give it more, cause now the tune's abit boring even though it's good.

Song made while following a Cubase instruction course, but now I'm stuck as I only have Cubase 4 LE at home and this is made in Cubase 5, so I guess it won't be finished until I got myself a copy of Cubase 5..
I noticed that on some stereo's people can't seem to hear the sub very clearly, that will need fixing aswell I guess

made this couple nights back, its only the skeleton at the moment and needs stuff like samples added into the main bit, then obviously a middle section, second drop etc.

thoughts so far?

i listened to this a couple of times n kinda like it.

all the synth string / atmospheric kinda backing sounds sound cool, best part of the song easy.

i thing the drums lack slight punch but that could be taste. i.e. i like a fatter snare, but is it more garagey, so hey.

i think the bass is good but maybe needs to be more prominent in the arrangement. i.e. on a drop or sumthin.

regardin the arrangement, i like the change @ 2.30, a nice change.

also just out of interest, u got a link to the original?

hope i helped :)

Ok, I like the basis of it. The bass floats in just right, not really my type of tune most of the time, but it certainly has its place. One thing I'd do is give the siren dynamics. Right now the siren just stays constant through out the entire song, I like it raising tension in the intro, but once the drop comes turning down or spacing out the siren would help focus attention on the drop/vibe. Secondly, I'm not sure how intentional this is, but the delay on the vocals could be a bit better. Right now the 'wet' delay hits right at 100% the same volume as the sample, even turning that down a bit would make it clearer (though not too clear) and disturb the ears (at least mine) less. Just gotta give the tune a bit more up & down, and you've got something on your hands.

Polyrhythms, minor notes and casette resampling!

I'm sick of long intros. If you couldn't tell.

@ Ian fm-Definitely feeling the vibe of this one man, my advice, some better drum fills, beef up the bass A LOT, add some more reverb to the whole thing, also you could really make those hi hats dance a bit better, the pattern is so repetitive. A little more space and bass to add some movement to the overall track. Remember space, pace, and bass. I love this tune though, big big up yaself for being so creative and original, time to put in some work on the sound design and eq front. pm me if you need some easy to understand eq stuff and I'll email a list to ya
