@ETRO
Same to you homie. Get with it, no one will feedback you
if you can't take 5 minutes to listen to something and post some advice or an honest critique.

FYI: THIS IS A FEEDBACK THREAD,
NOT A "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!!" THREAD.
THEREFORE: POST FEEDBACK FIRST

what's so hard to get about that?
didn't there used to be common sense in this thread, or was i mistaken?
chill out dude. i've posted tons of feedback over time and i just wanted to toss my mix up there, as i'm sure some of these other dudes did, and i was going to come in and post feedback on others after i finished doing real world shit (ie halloween weekend). there's nothing wrong with wanting people to post feedback, but your attitude about it is lame..

now as i was gonna say:

@streetxlite - your track "reality" : wasn't really feeling the breaks in this one, would try and maybe filter them down a bit more or somethin?? not really sure fam, although i do dig the melody line, i think the actual bassline sound doesn't really fit that well, and when it goes into 4x4 mode it just feels weird to me. maybe tweak your tones a bit or change the drum sounds?? either way, solid base to the track

@debaser1 - not really feelin it at all.. i just don't like that 8-bit sounding bassline, and there's no sub to it at all. this is just a personal preference thing though, as i hate chiptune with a passion.. i do like the jungly drums at like 1:50ish

@etro - nice use of "brutal electro" 8) dig the drop actually, but where's the sub at??? totally missin it.. also put some reverb on those drums man they sound kinda dry

@krypto - too much sub!! nice sounds.. work on the intro bit a bit, and the drum programming for sure. check out some videos of drummers online and just basic drumming rudiments to give you some ideas. that's helped me a ton lately with getting interesting rhythms

@superginger - more sub.. not feelin the intro at all, sounds kinda corny to me, as well as the biggie sample. the midrange sounds way too waveshaped or overphased or somethin, i dont really know, just sounds weird.. cool drop though, dug the way it flowed

@Njamimars - more sub, less glitch! anybody who produces much at all will be able to tell you just slapped glitch on your master channel. i would suggest not using it all, it's a cheesy and overdone effect, but that's just me. i'm sure you can find a way to use it tastefully

@nonxero - way too ambient for me, man, i could hardly finish it.. was not really feelin it at all, that's not a knock to the production though. where's the bass???

@bradicle - YEAHHH.. if anything i say strip it down more! get the drums hitting in time with the subbass, especially the kick, and high pass the synth to make it really airy. pull out that little blippy sound, it's just cluttering the mix.. the vox are wicked.. make it even more minimal and this is a heavy tune.. dig the vibes 100 percent

@tripwire - the drums sound like they're in like a tin can or something, and i'm not really a radiohead fan at all, so that might make me a little biased here, but i think this track is kind of weak. the rhythm is canned, and the synth sounds come off as bad indie rock cheesy to me. this is totally not knocking the production though, it's just a personal thing. like the sub a lot

@spectrum1 - gnarly dude.. the sub doesn't feel like its hitting in time with the synth sound or very hard, and the drop gets kind of repetitive, but it's nice synth work. the orchestra is total cheese in an awesome way haha dig the style, keep on workin it, sounds very datsik

@soosh21 - just sounds like katamari damacy to me man. can't really back it in the club, but if that's what you're going for, good vibes

@echoi - turn down the synth and let the drums do their magic. feelin the track though! like the little change-ups, just would turn everything down and let it breathe more

btw - if you wanna hit me back, the mix i'm looking for feedback on is in my sig.. feel free to skip around and just give me feedback on certain tracks that you dig or what you think are highlights. you def don't gotta listen to them all, and the first and last track are both rap instrumentals i've done that i figured made good intro/outros. peace

np, and i think most people understand the rules just fine. if they do and they don't operate within them, they won't get any feedback, and if they don't understand the rules, then all it takes is a simple "check the OP if you want feedback.." i think much more than 10 percent of the contributors understand, btw. i see a good thread here where people are giving plenty of useful feedback to one another. i don't see much disrespect, and why not just ignore those who do? making posts just to say, "why doesn't anybody ever read the rules?" buries tunes just as much as posting without feedback.. done

@TaikiOfficialUK: I kind of like this... but your "yoy" wobbles are rather noisy; would I be wrong in attributing them to bitcrushers? While that is a great method for the yoy, it tends to be rather noisy. Maybe you should look into formant filters instead?

@Echoi: Very echo-y track. I like that synth, though. It's a bit like bubbles bursting, I'd say. Cool.

@THuuN: Nice drums. I like the electronic feel, too. Of course, that should be expected from the title... but I was still taken aback. (Nice slight syncopation, too.)

@Echoi - omg sounds very sick dude. Drums are nice and that synth is pretty killer. 16 bit style I love it!

@taiki - Nice traditional brostep with bitcrushers. Sounds very nice but the style is kinda getting faded. Gotta make it unique and your own. The BHHAHA effect is very cool. Would smoke to this.

@ kikaruu - Sick song bro. I love the groove and the synth / vocals go very nicely. I sense some bloody beetroots style. I likely :D

and here is mine :)

@taiki: I'm not much for the brostep, but the intro on this one is great. One thing though, try to change up the rythm of the bass pattern a little bit, even with the note changes, it still gets boring after a while. Other than that, This is a pretty good tune (aside from the fact that I wouldn't personally listen to it)

@kikaruu: the kick sounded a bit loud in the intro. Also, the reverb of the main synth really kills the crispness of this tune and drown out the other melody parts, cut back on it a bit. I really love the the drums and the intro was quite unique. this track has a lot going for it. (maybe I just don't get the fidget house sound :P)

@therook: I'm jealous, this tune is too good. The snare could be a bit louder, and the kick a bit less punchy. The melody is great overall, love the second drop's piano.

@thuun: since i'm listening to this quietly in the middle of the night, I can't tell you too much about your mix, but the tune itself... wow. The number of sounds you use Is pretty great, especially considering how well they sit together. Sounds like a reso type bit you have goin on with this. The fact that you actually have sub in this too makes me smile. Only thing i don't like is the wobble bass that drops around 2:15. I'm just not into the sound

And here is mine. Deeper one here:

@wwwmoo- nice one man! Enjoyed hearing something a bit deeper than usual. Some nice sounds going on, theres a lot of space in your track but i like that. One thing i noticed your percussion thing your using in your intro has a noticable pop/click with it....is it a sample, cos if so you might need to find a zero crossing point. Nice use of subs, i like this.

@thunn.... def a heavy tune, liking your drums and your synth work. Not got much to add really, it pretty much there....i dont usually like heavy dubstep but this was good.

@therook- nice melodies, evolves nicely. i think you could do with some contrasting synth work, but still keep the smooth vibe. relaxing tune all the same. add a touch more percussion as well make it more interesting.

@kikaruu- not usually my kind of thing, but this is a cool track. its well made, your breakdown is a little weird tho.
My 2 cents for now...

New track up...some psychedelic future bass thing....

@A-list: Sorry if you feel under-noticed. Now that you've mentioned it, I've given your track a listen, and I'm impressed. Although I normally prefer the more aggro version of dubstep, it's always nice to step back and listen to some numbing seat-shakers. Well done, mate -- melody, vibe, and the chords match the key (at least, it sounds in tune. ;)). So yeah. Nice job.

@soosh - i reeeeeally like this one, i love all of the layers and samples but i think it could use a change in groove or feel because it gets a bit monotonous

@a-list - really diggin this. great mix, sounds dope on my speakers, maybe change up the melody a little next time? overall a great tune IMO

#Echoi
pad... it's nothing special but ok. well mixed drums. Nice drop, liquid and shit :D I would of made the drop more vaired though :P but it's a matter of preference. good track mate, but I'd change that boring pad!

#joekool
I listened to Louden Up. I must say that you are a taltented producer, and you handle mixing/mastering well. But I the melody is cheesy and I would'nt use those percs for that leadsynth! It sounds like a mix of electro and techhouse and to be honest I dont think it fits. But as said above I think your produce well, and I would gladly like to hear more from you :)

#kikaruu
coool intro :) I love the sound :P can't describe it though xD first drop is totally ok! but I would of kept it more simple to build up a bigger climax at the second drop :) and I would varied that melody a bit! I think its cool but you kinda get fucked up and irritated by it :P (but then it get's ok when you change the pitch!) but I dunno, atleast that was what I would of done! cheers mate cool track and I liked the sampling :P

#therook
best song today! :) sucha nice chill track... beautiful piano, great atmos, well mixed and mastered! I totally love the track, i also downloaded it :) sounds like you are using clap isntead of snare? its nice and a matter of preference, but I'd make it a bit more punchier with compressor something! maybe a bit louder

#wwwmoo
deep track! nice bleeps :) not my cup of tea, but I think it's well produced. sweet sub too ;)

#taste tester
haha funny intro! a bit long though... filthy asssssss drop mate! i like! I downloaded the stems... expect a remix in a while :P

I linked my new track "champagne" yesterday and I got some nice feedback on it ;) thanks to all who gave! feel free to give feedback on it or any other track in my signature :) post any feedback on soundcloud plz :P
cheers

@kikaruu - Depth Charge - Wicked tune, really had me grooving. I really like the bit at 1.33, real cool.

@therook - always - I think this would be really good with deep Grime lyrics over the top. I'd turn the sub down just a touch so you can turn everything else up.

@wwwmoo - Kept it nice and minimal, bit too minimal for my liking but very well done.

@soosh21 - Cool style, very trippy dream sequence material.

@Taste Tester - Very odd but cool - I could see some people loving this, and other hating it. It'll polarise the nation. :h:

Made this today, would love some feedback.
