sorry for the extremely vague description. hi. got this song i'm going crazy trying to find from a mix i dl'ed back in '06 or '07. unfortunately i have no idea who the mix is by and no idea who the track is by (maybe quantum soul?) cuz my friend lost the cd that i burned for him. anyway, it samples an asian/chinese guitar/melody and was probably released around 06 or 07. kinda heavy baseline. i know there were a few tracks from around that time period that fit the description but sadly i've only heard this track on this one mix :/ i want to say it was a get darker mix but again i'm not sure. any input is appreciated. thanks in advance. btw, hi! i'm nick and this is my first post on this board, although i've been coming here for quite some time now...

I need help IDing a tune I heard on Rinse FM late-night yesterday. It was late and I was tired, so I didn't catch what was said about it. Anyway, the tune features a high-pitched vocal that appears to be singing "What? What-what-what?", with some sexy similarly-pitched synths and pads. It had a very hip-hoppy sounding drum production on it, but quite a bit more complex than most hip-hop beats. Whomever was on Rinse at the time said that he "promises, this tune will be out this month!"

It's been in my head all day but I haven't been able to satisfy my urge to hear it again!! Please help!

The youtube video had a young boy walking down the streets of England like a bigshot and going into shops. I can't remember too much of the beat but I think they might have said "Fack!" at certain parts of it. Sorry I can't remember much more than that, it was a few months ago. Anyone know this video?

Hmm I think it's a different song. I have definitely heard the one you linked before, so I might have mixed it up with the video.


I think the boy might be Thomas Turgoose from This is England, or looked a lot like him, perhaps a bit fatter... but I'm not sure what the song is. It's been driving me a bit crazy.
