Fucking hell giroud was shite last night

Koscielny too, getting cut up by diving for the ball twice 1-on-1, hes a decent defender but so prone to massive balls ups, needs Per alongside him to keep him in line it seems

Rambo & Wilshere looked decent tho, lol at Chiles giving it the big 1 at half time 'how does Wilshere stop this irreversible downward rut'? Hes fucking 22 and still one of the best young CMs in the world i reckon, one injury free season and he'll be raved about.

Murky that mousemat is gully>>>>

Wilshere showed world class promise 4 years ago or so. (edit 2-3 years ago Im being unfair)
The rest has been just acceptable imo.
He should've played further up the pitch and his education should have focused on becomming a more offensive minded player.
Probably not up to him.
It would help with injuries aswell because he would have to run less.

It's exactly the same situation with Barkley at Everton atm and a lot of british players through history. Like Gascoigne, Adam Smith, Scoles, Rooney to an extent( and maybe Le Tissier ?) who all had to play outside of their most natural position due to the kick and rush tradition or just the 442.
It's not like there's a lack of utility players or just players that work a lot who could secure the space they would leave behind while roaming. And the system has even changed now...

It's such a fucking shame, but I think he will become the traditional two-way midfielder that is going to be highly injury prone and will get a ton of cards. .

nah im with johoosh on this, its proper hysteria surrounding Wilshere. He hasn't had a run of 2 or months fit for years. If he continues to be injury prone, it will be a massive shame/ waste but not his fault. Jack will excel again if he gets a fit run in the team, he was one of our best players against city and didn't have a bad game against CP...in a few months hopefully he will be quashing all this talk

Balotelli links with liverpool this morning. i dont care who he plays for i just want him back in the prem, such a character

Yeah when he is fit and up to speed for a few games he looks 2-3 steps ahead of everyone else, especially good on the edge of the box & going fwd.

I disagree to an extent hubb, with experience there i could see him working as a gerrard style CM, dangerous going fwd but still putting in a shift defensively & energising the midfield, alternatively (unlikely now weve got Mesut) you could push him fwd more and try and shape him more in the Iniesta style role, deffo got the touch & passing ability to muck up defences

So cheap. Surprised you got him tbh.. thought this and the Falcao stuff was nonsense considering you're spent WAY over what you got for Suarez already. Thought it was the standard hype of seeing a big payday as endless money but Balotellis gunna be well cheap.

Hes very experienced for his age and although hes seen as a bit of a handful hes less of a tnuc than Suarez so I guess that's not an issue.

Anelka went and won titles with different clubs. We're likely to get 14m for Borini and spend 16m on Balotelli that's a pretty ridiculous deal in our favour
