Out of interest, what do you think you actually gain from socialising on a forum if you don't exchange original ideas with anyone? Is it just an alternative newsfeed or Reddit... just a way to get new links to YouTube videos or is it actually about... interacting with human beings?

I really can see the point in taking time to make a good post on an Internet forum - I even have strangers come up to me in clubs and thank me for my posts occasionally - the wasted time seems to be just typing "I agree" or "I don't agree" however the current grammatical trends dictate. If a reply doesn't add anything to the conversation is there really any point in even making it? Where's the value? Where's the reward? Why not set each thread up as a poll and stop people writing replies altogether?! Why not just post on Google Plus so that your mates can only add +1 to your link?

Surely you'd get the same level of reward grunting at people in the street as you would posting two word replies or single smilies on an Internet forum?

for me it's pretty much just the lols

dont take the place seriously at all (not in a negative way, i just dont. It's an internet forum)

but yeah its pretty funny i reckon

think theres some cool and un-cool people one here, but overall it normally gets me through alot of boredom

plus good way to find new music

And I want to do it as cheaply as possible. Preferably in 2 months, but I'm not sure.I'm down with Greyhounds and trains and hitchhiking, though.

Only thing I would bring is money, clothes, soap and a laptop+headphones that keep me producing music on the road. I have so many new crazy musical ideas and and inspisrations that haunt my head repeatedly but but it's time for me to LET them haunt records, not my brain.

My music is supposed to be spontanic chaos and it's created in tiny rather unchaotic room.The room doesn't represent the freedom I want my music to represent. So I wanna break free

People that know me know that I hate repetition, predictability and routine. And that's exactly my type of life right now. I eat the same foods, do the same workouts, watch the same shows in the same room. And I just don't feel any "pleasure" anymore. I'lll laugh but I don't feel it. There'll be goosebumps but I only see them. I go to concerts and notice my body reacting to my sussoundings but my mind feels neglected. This needs to stop. I need to do less thinking and more experiencing and I'll DO IT this summer.

My bipolar disorder broke me throughr some large walls in the past, and it was good, but I think it's time to leave the kids' table and give bipolar disorder a ride on MY back this time.

I need to get my medications and cashmonay in order and get out of here for a while. Hopefully it'll be a steppingstone to a moar perment unpredictable lifestyle like that. Or at the very least, I'll find a truer version of myself at the end.

Calling my sister and mom tomorrow for this.

Wish me luck.

Also fwiw magma and agent you're both right. Obviously people are on forums to have discussion, but the thing is that some people come for more serious, "normal" discussion, while others just want to joke around and take the piss a little bit, and some people come for both

Which is why you shouldn't be surprised that sum ppl like 2 type like this sometimes 4 irony
