Incredible film. Darren Aronofsky used like 4 times the amount of normal cuts in it which is part of its genius, very well directed. Pi is great too, much darker.

Yeah an odd one.. massively depressing but they're so well done you can't help but admire it. End up applauding while crying lol.

One of my fave movies ever along with Jacob's Ladder.
Could watch it a million times, but god it's so well done and the real story bit makes it sad/scary as hell at times.

Incredible documentary about a british photographer well known for his work in conflict zones.. Very moving stuff.
I remember my dad had bought Mcculins book along time ago featuring all his horrific photos and looking at the pictures as a young boy, it was probably one my first encounters of violence that's been kept solid in my memory.

Giving Louie a go after catching up on Parks and Rec from the pilot.

Can definitely recommend P&R.

Very, very touching - almost cried.
Apparently it was Kurt Cobain's favourite movie and it's the source of the sample in this

Well acted dose of English urban misery but with a slight twist. Better than recent films that make me want to carpet bomb London.

Big Lebowski

Nothing to say, it's amazing.

The Big Bang

Continuing the Sam Rockwell theme, gave this another watch. Antonio Banderas is a private investigator hired to investigate a missing person who may or may not have existed. Sam Rockwell is an eccentric billionaire with a particle accelerator. Lots of musings on the state on the universe and a shit ton of physics references (like the diner is called Planck's Constant Cafe)
