with all the criticisms thrown left and right, from country to country, and person to person, finding fault with no action and no desire but to hurt and maim in whatever way possible....
why do we prefer to be cruel, mean, dismissive to each other when we could actually express and share love, embrace togetherness, and treat each other with the respect that we'd like returned to us?
is it merely a defense mechanism? why are we protecting ourselves from each other by tossing barbs and arrows when all we need to do is remember that our fellow people really are fellow people? though we might not be each other's literal kin, how much farther would we progress as a race if we could only muster enough courage to treat other people as family?
i mean, is someone any less valuable because they aren't your blood brother or sister or mother or father? is it meaningless that the individual is someone's daughter or son, father or mother, wife or husband; even if its not you? and if we really are so self-interested as to assert that we (Universal and individual) are the center of the universe, how do we ever have the right to hope for anything improving in our relations towards each other?
why would we bother to hold governments and politicians to a higher standard of compassion, empathy, and consideration if we are unwilling to do it in our personal lives? How would they know how to be guides and moral compasses if the political systems are comprised of individuals much like ourselves, who'd rather waste the effort and instead of bettering our lives by being kind and compassionate towards our fellows and acquaintances, would rather enjoy being malicious and sadistic towards each other, inflicting pain and invoking malice?
see love is so much bigger than a feeling of romantic attachment. that one thing enables empathy, compassion, selflessness, and consideration for the rest of the world. and without that, there will never be any kind of hope of salvation for human kind--and sadly, we need that protection mostly from ourselves.

Word man, these girls out here in america are nothing compared to my gf or any english girl.dubstepjustin wrote:I think girls in Europe (especially the UK) are hotter than the ones here in the USA. Americans really arn't that fashion clever. Tshirts down to the knees and jeans so wide you could fit 40 people in are well cool innit!
Love to me is when i get a sack of weed and I smell it and the smell is so delicious and tasty that i have a huge smile on my face untill i skin up. That is true love.

Is there anything more terrifyingly banal than the faces of the lovestruck?
Apart from Argos, obviously.
