Facebook has a miserable tnuc setup for preferences. No comments/tags without approval, no contact by strangers, no friends of friends seeing any of your shit etc etc


I recommend it.

even then anything you do on other people's shit probably shows up in peoples feeds if they have their preferences set up differently. one of my fam's shit is public, i told her she should change it to friends and she was like "i have nothing to hide!" ffs. other people have friends of friends shizzle going on. hell to the no.

Defriend them or just check the option for not following their updates anymore. I've unsubscribed from a fair few people who I consider good mates because of the torrent of innane shit/jaded quotes/observational 'wit'/pictures of fucking cheese on toast that they spew forth.

All these things are deemed normal. This is humanity in 2012, well done and pat yourselves on the back in the name of progress.
