I did that this year/last year. I was so happy with my personal statement when I got rid of the whole UCAS application.

Open up my statement a month later and cringed at EVERYTHING.

you can ignore the malware warnings. they were for an iframe issue from yesterday that's been resolved, but we're still being flagged for them

having said that, if you're getting malware warnings then you're better off not using this (or any) site until you stop getting them. why risk your machine?

oh and i just found out i've got an underactive thyroid :? at least i can now use that to excuse the weight gain that meant i had a massive panic before my job interview on friday when i couldn't get into my trousers  not what you need to happen 10 minutes before having to leave the house! i've had the same suit for almost 10 years though so it's not that surprising it doesn't fit

My left speaker has started blowing on super low sub frequencies. It sounds fucking awful :|
Well, atleast I assume it's something like that. It'll play The Goat Stare perfectly fine, but struggle with a fair few Kryptic Minds tunes

Ah I thought so. I'll dig out Breakage - Together now and see if the speaker explodes

i knew a girl whose thyroid was overactive.. n she could NOT sit still or be quiet for a second. It was like naturally being on meth all the time.
Do you get fatigued due to the under active thyroid?

i started working in an office last week-- horrible environment. i have to listen to these secretaries blab all day about their fucking families like people actually care to hear about how handsome their son is. or I hear some of the guys talk about their golf score or the baseball game they went to over the weekend. every other sentence is always "oh yeah?". you gotta keep up appearances i guess. I work in the engineering department and most of the engineers are focused on their work. theres just a handful of people who have way too little to do so they spend their day punishing the rest of us with their domestic prattle.

Making small talk in an office is my most dreaded social interaction ever.

Wait till they bring their snot-nosed son into work and you have to pretend you actually want to meet them. OR when someone has a baby and they bring it in for everyone to look at. Just cos im a girl does not mean I want to hold your smelly brat for half and hour and discuss how much sleep you're getting!

Children should not be allowed in the office. Ever. I don't give a shit if you've just given birth. I don't want to see it. I don't want to smell it. And I don't want to fucking hear it.

If it can't type, it shouldn't be allowed in the building.

Had some big old lucid dream last night about being at some massive multi rigger free party. Woke up and it wasn't real. :(

i used to work at the RSPCA and they let people bring their dogs to work with them. it was quite nice having them about the place but you got the odd one that was annoying. i remember one little yappy shit that made noises every 10 minutes like someone had ran over it with a wheely office chair

I hate work doos, even going for a drink with colleagues pisses me off. I'm not going to sit there with a load of people I don't really like slagging each other/work off for 3 hours.

Learnt my lesson on that one, now I simply refuse to attend the christmas party or any other social engagement with anyone I work with.

Its like these people have no life outside work. And most of them(people in general) are two faced, back stabbing pricks anyway.
