^^ ah seen. Yeah I know Matt, left plymouth before it opened tho... was wondering if you meant Route One, and if that wasteman Bossa was still involved in any kind of music...
Hasnt a new club opened, might hold some dubstep nights there? Plymouths bass music scene has gone right down the shitter, can't believe the White Rabbit is regarded as a viable venue nowdays..!
lived there aged 11-18!! Cut my bass music teeth in the drug fueled empire that was Legends Of The Dark Black @ Dance Academy! U know plymouth?
@Wolf where is Subheavy now days? is it up at the uni? Necta Selecta still run it? he played at Berghain the other week!!
Yeah, well basically there is a new "super club" that's in exactly the same building as some other club was (which I think was what you might have been referring to in an earlier post?).
Darko's night Unleashed has now become pretty huge booking loads of big dnb and dubstep names. They have finally got round to using a different rig than the piss poor one that White Rabbit has I think (but I haven't been to any of their nights in a long time, not bothered about seeing anyone they book it's just been generic dub police kind of stuff)
Subheavy has gone weekly since September and is in Maggies (opposite white rabbit) which was really good when it started but unfortunately has kind of ground to a hault as the student population has had exams then gone home so a lot of the crowd disapeared. We've had a bunch of headliners down which have been good nights (Distance, Appleblim, N-Type).
This weekend subheavy has Appleblim again, but this time it's at a free event in Freedom fields with a couple other stages there too with live bands.
Plymouth's house scene has got real good this last year with Dance Dance Dance moving into Maggies and using the subheavy rig. Has always had a good attendance and great music at it.
