Edit: Thread AKA...
'Dubstep is Grime for grown-ups'
'Grime is Working / Under Class, Dubstep is Middle / Earning Class'
'Dubstep is what Grime wishes it was'
'Dubstep.mp3 - 320kbps Grime.mp3 - 32kbps'
*run and hide*
True really innit?
I heard one guy say "this is just Grime made by mans with more than a weeks production experience!"
Intelligent Grime = Dubstep...

a mate i brought along to one fwd said something similar, he was saying he wished grime MCs would 'chat over tunes like this instead of over gameboy music'
its a different sound though isn't it, i suppose the rawness of grime is what attracts alot of people. can't stand most of it myself, but i wouldn't have said it's all made by inexperienced producers. the basic sound is intentional isn't it?

the 'basicness' of the sound, rather than the 'basic sound'. if that makes sense.

thats bull shit man
they got different emotional intensities going on for one thing
and really and truly where in dubstep do you ever hear tunes that sound like terror danjha, wiley or davinche? those sounds are original and unique to GRIME
just cos dubstep producers pay more attention to the mixdown doesnt makeit better just different
i get annoyed at this kind of talk !
