For your own good, don't buy Numark products

Post by grandmabastard » Sun Aug 23, 2009 5:17 pm

Bought 2 turntables and a mixer, all NuMark so they should be loving me right now. BOTH turntables arrive broken, it takes them a month to fix, which they then try charging me for. When they arrive I'm like oh hey why have they given me a free tone arm? oh heres why because they are BOTH BROKEN. well you know what i hate you NuMark if anyone on this forum works for, or is affiliated with NuMark then FUCK YOU. oh and ps. the sound quality from the mixer is complete wank aswell so wow thanks for the great products and customer service ill be sure to tell all my friends!

I had some Numark decks (TT-1's I think...) for about 7/8 years but they just died on me after no trouble at all for ages. Now I've dug out my even older shitty belt drive starter decks (which are also numark) just to have a mix while I save up for some Technics. It's well annoying but I'm getting use to the belt drive wobble again its just like the olden days!

Well that's cool for you, it's also kind of sad - it shows how little demand there is for turntables nowadays :(

I got a numark mixer with my technics...it's the worst mixer ever. suddenly the cross fade allows audio from both sides, when it feels like it.

I see Techs for cheap pretty much monthly on our local board. I don't really need new techs but a kid was going to sell me two almost brand new MKIII's for 400 bucks. Wish I had the dough. There is little demand b2b tough times, it would be a waste to buy anything else and def a waste to buy new.

Never bought anything Numark in my life, it will stay that way but thanks for the warning anyway :)

I'm buying technics when I have money.
I bought second-hand Numark turntables, they're 2 years old and I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

numark have given me major beef..... but my current mixer and TT's by numark have been working fine - although when i first got them they gave me no tone arms or anything, definatly alot of small problems with numark....

let alone the stupidly long list of people with broken shit from then

What numark decks are you buying?? Theeee only decks numark makes that are worth a shit is the ttx's. All the the rest of their decks are shit. I have used the ttx's for 7 years like hard use, they are rock solid. AND they have more torque than technics...and more features. Like two start and stop buttons for battle style...and how many decks you know where you can switch the pitch faders position on the deck? And the tonearms are switchable between straight and curved.
