So here it goes,

Basically a few months back I was in a bad car accident and almost got killed. The bitch who hit us was totally at fault. After the accident i had shit loads of phone calls sorting out my case to get compensation. Was all good I thought.

Today I get a letter from my solitor, I just thought it was another check up or something. I open it to find I now have a bill for £1600 because apparantly I hired another firm to take my case, I didn't even know about this. I just wanted to get it all sorted out, I was getting about 5 calls a day to get this sorted, not one person explained to me there was more than one person on the case.

Everyone just seems to be out to make more money, where is anyone trying to help eachother (except in the production forum, sometimes)

I have signed a contract with this firm, however the other one I havn't signed anything... Im hoping.

Exactly, what the fuck has the world come to now days. They wont even listen to me. I'm just a broke kid who wanted a bit of repercussion to happen to the bitch to almost took my life, insted their fucking me over to gain themselves, it makes me sick.

The worst thing is, I have -£5 in my bank account, im a student for fucks sake. where the hell am I suposed to get that kind of money.

ask them for the written proof you've done this

and you'd like a copy of the phone calls if they have them recorded

if they decline the above your in the clear

.... if they provide them and its blatent its you agreeing to this

then your fucked

otherwise i wouldnt worry ... and say to the original firm that you thought they were sorting it and never gave permission for another firm to pursue your claim and still wish to continue your claim .... and why the fuck have they sent you a bill:)
